It weirds me out when people consistently want big money in competitive games. The sugar high feels good, but crashes your scene when big money pulls out. More tourneys should be funded solely off the door price and go without big production. It's more sustainable.

This vibe is gone and I blame convention center tournaments. Hotel ballrooms should be the peak of luxury for events. I want these things run out of rec centers, fire halls, and school gyms. Somebody had the idea of taking this shit corporate and it ruined everything.

HCS for the most part was always good especially with the circumstances given. Games releasing so infrequently and incomplete/broken was always going to lead to this unfortunately. Sucks for the individuals affected, issues were always bigger than most if not all of them.
