We're so pleased to see the difference that our support for adult readers makes in Shropshire. @ReadEasyUK Impact Report shows how much reader confidence increases, how much more likely they will socialise, make new friends and better able to read with family members for fun!
Read Easy Shropshire Hills would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thank you to our volunteers, supporters and donors!
We can’t wait to help more adults learn to read!

Congratulations Shane, presented with his graduation certificate this morning by Marjorie, his Coach, at the Church Stretton Parish Centre.
Knowing this award has helped Shane to get the job of his dreams is so satisfying and a great inspiration to our readers and coaches alike.
We are greatly honoured to have received this message from His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire, Mrs Anna Turner congratulating Shane on his new job as a result of the reading support provided by his Read Easy Shropshire Hills coach, Marjorie #reading #literacy @ReadEasyUK

Coach Coordinator, Steve, visits Mark who is coached remotely by Kate. They both find online coaching to be effective, convenient and suitable for a large rural county such as Shropshire

Arun is from Kerala and now lives in Shropshire, working with his Read Easy Shropshire Hills Coach since 2024.
Arun’s first language is Malayalam, his written English was virtually non-existent. Having translated his piece below into his native language, see how different it is!
