They thought Noah was crazy for building an ark. They thought Joseph's dreams were grandiose delusions. They thought David would fall at Goliath's feet. They thought Jeremiah was a false prophet. They thought wrong. Never let an outsider's unbelief dictate what the Spirit of God has mandated for you.

Justification is not God pretending you are righteous. It is God declaring you righteous because Christ's righteousness has been credited to your account. Your standing before Him rests on what Jesus did, not on how you feel today.

Good question that deserves an answer: The Lord is not subject to the laws that he implements upon man. He is the creator and we are the creation. He is holy and man is not. Perfect holiness does not require forgiveness for unrepentant people. Sinful people who are need of forgiveness are expected to forgive others without measure.
If God doesn’t forgive us until we repent, why are we ordered to forgive whether the person repents or not? 🤔

If you want to fix the country, repent. You, personally, repent. Do what Jesus said. Conform your life to his standards, and the whole country will be better for it.

Preterism is a dumpster fire. Be confident in: - Your future redemption - Israel’s future redemption - Messiah’s thousand-year reign on earth

There is not a single politician who can stop the fall of this once great country. They do not care about you. Their only concern is retribution against the other side. As I said long ago, the national tension will continue to increase and our foreign enemies will plot against us. While we are preoccupied with tearing each other apart, foreign leaders are preoccupied with bringing America down. All of these things serve the purpose of the Lord to execute his wrath on this nation of lawlessness and corruption.
Many Americans will see the election results and say that America is losing itself. But this nation lost itself many years ago, and is spiraling into its foretold downfall. Not a single elected official will stop this country’s decline, even though they promise you prosperity. Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and he will make your way prosperous.

"You two are living together. Tell me more about that," I said in my office. "We already know it's not Biblical," the bride-to-be said. "Okay. Say more." "What do you mean? I'm saying we know cohabitation isn't Biblical." "Yeah that's what's confusing me. When you asked to meet, you told me you wanted a pastor who shares your Biblical values to do your wedding, but now you're telling me you knowing don't live according to Biblical values? Tell me about how you decided to cohabitate." "Well, we know what the Bible says about marriage and sex, but my lease was up and if I moved in with my parents it'd be a 45 minute drive and if I got my own place again, it'd be a waste of thousands of dollars." "Ah. So time and money are your gods." "No they aren't, we're Christians." "Maybe. But it seems like you're not - a god is what tells you how to live. You chose to listen to time and money on sex and cohabitation instead of Jesus. Which is your god?" "Does this mean you won't do our wedding?" "I didn't say that. But, you did say you wanted a pastor. That's why we're here. I'm a pastor, not a hireling wedding officiant. Do you want a pastor or a vender for your wedding?" "A pastor." "Okay, great. Then here's my concern for you: you've developed a habit of hardening your hearts against the authority of Scripture and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Today, if you hear his voice, don't harden your hearts as they did in the rebellion. You said your Christians, I'll take your word for it right now, but you need to repent and move out until your wedding night. Jesus will certainly forgive if you repent and he'll cleanse you from all unrighteousness." "Okay. So, if we don't do this then you won't do our wedding?" "You're missing the point here. You're not even close to worried enough about what God thinks or says. My job as a pastor is to help you care about what God says, not get you to care about what I say.” “Okay.” “Do you have anything to say?” I said to the Groom-To-Be. “No.” “That’s a bummer. You’re not going to lead this family if you have nothing to say.” “Okay.” “Alright. Well, you have a lot to think about. If you want a pastor, I’d be happy to be a part of your wedding. If you want a vendor, let me know. More important than your wedding is your relationship with Jesus. Is He your God or not? Think and pray together.” *an email three days later* “We’ve decided to go a different direction.” — Some thoughts: 1. My heart breaks for those who make time and money their god. This idolatry is oppressive. 2. I’d for sure officiate the wedding of two non-Christians. As long as they’re okay with me telling the truth about what marriage is and who and what it’s for, I’m in. This is a 10/10 evangelism opportunity straight out of Eph 5:32. 3. But, two professing Christians who are sinning highhandedly? No. “For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside.” 1 Co 5:12–13).

Do Christians not read the book of Revelation anymore? Yes, another holocaust is coming. No, there will not be enough good people to stop it.
I used to wonder how the Holocaust happened. I don’t wonder anymore. I only pray to God there are enough good people to stop a second one from happening. That’s where we are.

If Jesus was on earth today and stood up behind the pulpit and said: “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” (Luke 17:6) Do you think he would be welcome to preach in most churches? What would the theologians say about him?

Modern Christian: "God's own cannot fall away." Revelation 12:4, 9 — A third of heaven's angels followed Lucifer in rebellion. If sinless angels could abandon their Creator, why should Christians believe that professing faith makes apostasy impossible? Hebrews 3:12.

When you see stupidity like this, don’t bother engaging. If a person cannot see that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all distinctly different in the NT, then that person is unteachable. Anyone else I follow who believes this heresy, give me a shout so I can rid you off my TL.

For a Christian, having faith is a core requirement for pleasing God. Faith does not stop at belief in the Messiah. It is a realization of all things hoped for and confidence in them even though they are not yet seen (Heb. 11:1). Doubt leads to unbelief, and unbelief taints our interpretation of Scripture and renders us useless in the kingdom. Consider the words of the Lord Jesus Christ below. Do you believe what he says here, or do you have doubts about it? This will tell you where your faith is and what kind of Christian you are at the present. It is time to put down doubt and unbelief. It is time to put down silly interpretations of Scripture. It is time to start exercising the spiritual power that comes from the Spirit's baptism.

For many years, conservative Christians have railed against Nicki Minaj for obvious reasons. Her music is perverse and profane to say the least. But lately, Christians have warmed to her in ways never before seen—not because she has repented and publicly apologized for her music, but because she favors the “correct” political party. This is the kind of shallow favoritism we can expect from weak-minded Christians in this generation. There is no spiritual substance to speak of but purely fleshly and emotional allegiance to a team.

Premarital sex makes women crazy. It also makes women resentful towards men. At the root of much of our cultural misandry is the fact that men have used women sexually and women are now bitter over having been used. This is not say women in general are victims of male sexual predation. Women are very much complicit in their own misery and have consented to their own destruction. They have been deceived into thinking sexual "liberation" would actually be liberating instead of enslaving. We cannot fix the mutual hatred the sexes have for one another today without a restoration of sexual morality. If there is one irrefutable sociological truth that has come to light since the 1960s, it's the Bible was right all along, and separating sex from the covenant of marriage has been bad for everyone - men, women, and children. We cannot rescue our culture from suicide without rebuilding sexual morality.

It’s interesting how unbelief blinds a person to the truth in God’s word. Never let yourself become faithless.

Anyone who tells you that you do not have a responsibility to remain in Christ in order to be saved is a liar. Don’t listen to false teachers. Listen to the Spirit’s conviction in your heart.

Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes in his old age, which is a book of chalked full of wisdom and warnings. Solomon hardly faded in the end. Noah got drunk once that was recorded in Scripture. He was not a drunk. Examples of getting older but not necessarily wiser are men like Gideon, Eli, King Saul and King Uzziah.
