The absolute essence of Corbynism - being a nuisance, not doing the hard work of governing. It's quintessential comfort zone politics. Choosing powerlessness means never having to compromise. It's the ultimate self-indulgence.
"Even one independent MP can be an awful nuisance in parliament, times that by 12 and you've got 12 awful nuisances."

Rishi Sunak lied to you.
About NHS waiting lists.
About small boats.
About the cost of living.
Just like he did about partygate.

So depressing that even though the Boris Johnson era is over, the Tories have made a deliberate decision to continue the era of lies & gaslighting.
This is why trust in politics is at rock bottom. The public are sick of it.
We can’t have a Prime Minister willing to make stuff up.

You see numbers like this and wonder how it wont just keep getting worse for the Conservatives as the campaign goes on and more people tune in. What could they possibly say to turn it around?

Imagine being Prime Minister for nearly two years and achieving absolutely nothing. All that time, all that resource, all that opportunity to build a better world and a better country…. nothing.
Just division, despair and nastiness.

I was still at school the last time Labour won an election from opposition.
I’d grown up under 18 years of Tory government & saw a country desperate for change.
I feel that same sense of urgency for things to get better again. 🌹

Thinking of the family and friends of the 56 football fans who tragically lost their lives in the Bradford City fire disaster, on this day in 1985.
Including young Leeds fan Ian Hambridge, 15, who died attending his first football match.
Never forgotten, RIP.
On this day 39 years ago, 56 people travelled to Valley Parade and never returned.
Today, and every day, is for those we lost on 11th May 1985. 🎗️

Let’s have Pimms and Sherry whilst we pass a dehumanising bill which will further demonise the most vulnerable in society, some of whom risked everything to support our armed forces in Afghanistan.
