That's a wrap! The next community meeting will be scheduled for early in the new year.
From @LADWP: A consultant will be hired to manage process for future development of property, following refilling.
Q: How will decision on asphalt sides be made? A: Will not delay refilling, so timing is a consideration. Would need community consensus.
Q: Will the reservoir be refilled all at once? A: Will be filled to 440 ft above sea level (historic level) starting on May 1.
Q: Would removing the asphalt slopes delay the refill indefinitely? A: It may. Target is to refill starting May 1 regardless of slopes.
From @LADWP: If asphalt side slopes removed, could plant vegetation. If not removed, could paint sides.
From @LADWP: Additional improvements could be pathway on S side of reservoir, expanding meadows, lighting, side asphalt & fence removal.
From @LADWP: Water to come from Polluck wells. Undergoing well improvements now, pipeline design from wells to reservoir has been approved.
From @LADWP: Tree planting has begun around the reservoir. Will continue through early next year.
From @LADWP: Bypass project is on schedule, reservoir will still begin to be refilled in May '17
