Congressman Brad Finstad retweeted
Lawmakers like @RepFinstad voted for the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 in Washington, but it was shaped by dozens of listening sessions out in the field like this one.
It's time for farmers, ranchers, and rural communities to have their voices heard. It's time to get the farm bill across the finish line.
Last week, the Runge family and @MNFarmBureau hosted an agricultural stakeholder listening session with leaders in our ag community and the next generation of farmers to discuss the issues impacting Watonwan, Blue Earth, and Brown Counties.
When helping my @HouseAgGOP colleagues write the House-passed Farm Bill, listening sessions like these directly shaped our policies. Thank you to everyone who could join us and provide valuable insights into the issues affecting our farmers!
I joined the City of Madelia to celebrate one of the most significant utility investments in the community’s history to modernize aging infrastructure across the city. Severe weather, aging equipment, and increasing system demands can create adverse effects on electrical grids, which is why investments to strengthen resilience are so important. For rural communities like Madelia, ensuring a dependable electric grid for years to come is essential for our hardworking families, productive farms, businesses, and manufacturers.
Thank you to Madelia Municipal Light and Power, our state and federal partners, and everyone who made this important project possible.

My National Fraud Enforcement Division Act is a commonsense piece of legislation establishing meaningful federal fraud enforcement, not a political game.
Not one House Republican voted against making DOJ’s National Fraud Enforcement Division permanent.
72 @HouseDemocrats did.
Who votes against fighting FRAUD?
Thank you to @POTUS and his administration for continuing to hold fraudsters accountable and protect Minnesotans’ hard-earned taxpayer dollars. If you see fraud, you can now report it through the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program. ⬇️
See fraud? It's time to expose it.

While in Red Wing last week, we enjoyed some famous Hanisch Bakery donuts with Mayor Iocco and city leaders. Stop by and support this great local business next time you’re in town!
Between stops this weekend, I got to spend some time in the combine as our family works to get the corn crop out. Thanks to my good friend, Jon Anderson, for joining me for a ride-along!
I hosted @RepPeteStauber in Wabasha this week for a transportation and infrastructure roundtable with area leaders and officials. From EMS services to telehealth to highway and road projects, we received updates on many of the issues affecting our neighbors.
Throughout my time in Congress, I’ve worked to deliver meaningful investments in critical infrastructure and transportation, and I always appreciate participating in these discussions to gain insight into how I can support our #MN01 communities.
The Rochester International Airport plays a critical role in connecting patients, healthcare professionals, and visitors to the Mayo Clinic and Rochester area. @RepPeteStauber and I joined Mayor Norton and City Council President Schubring at RST this week to hear more about their recent infrastructure upgrades and the projects connecting #MN01 with the world.
It’s essential that our #MN01 communities along the Mississippi River have the necessary infrastructure to improve flood resilience and address wastewater needs. This week, @RepPeteStauber and I joined city and county leaders, public works representatives, and engineers in Red Wing to discuss needed updates for their wastewater lift station and federal funding available to replace aging infrastructure. Thanks for having us!
It was great to be in Manchester this week to get an update on the replacement of their 70-year-old asbestos cement watermain - a project I secured over $1.7 million in federal funds for earlier this year. I’m proud to deliver these meaningful dollars that will protect the drinking water supply for residents in the Manchester area.
On Monday, I met with the Superintendent of Albert Lea Public Schools Dr. Steven Heil for an update on the school district. Always appreciate hearing from our #MN01 education community on the ground about what we can do in Washington to support our schools. Thanks for having me!
🚨 ICYMI: Minnesotans are far too familiar with the growing fraud crisis in our state. Read more about my National Fraud Enforcement Division Act and my work to lead federal fraud enforcement efforts in Congress. ⬇️

Proud to join @VP Vance, @WHFraudTF, and this administration in putting an end to the waste, fraud, and abuse plaguing Minnesota and this country.
I recently joined Guy Sing, the VSO for Olmsted County, for a great conversation on Olmsted County Veteran Services. The Veterans Services Office plays a critical role in advocating for the interests and welfare of U.S. Armed Forces veterans and their families. I appreciated the opportunity to hear more about their work to support the men and women who have served this country. Thanks for meeting with me!
Amazing news for homegrown energy! @EPA's proposal of 100% reallocation for additional 2025 Small Refinery Exemption volumes will not only provide stable markets for my fellow farmers but also lowers fuel prices at the pump for consumers across the country. ⬇️
In a move that will provide predictable and stable markets for farmers, we are proposing 100% REALLOCATION for the additional 2025 Small Refinery Exemption volumes for the amount that exceeded estimates in the “Set 2” Rule. This proposal will strengthen the Renewable Fuel Standard program, open markets for farmers, and grow economic potential for rural communities. Administrator Zeldin just announced this breaking news in Iowa. epa.gov/newsreleases/while-i…
Last week, President Trump took action to provide harvest-season relief by allowing red-dyed diesel for on-road use, delivering farmers meaningful savings. While Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska have acted, Governor Tim Walz refuses to follow suit.
Once again, Gov. Walz is putting politics ahead of Minnesota farmers. Read our letter calling for action ⬇️
Big thank you to the team at Sargent’s North Landscape and Garden Center in Rochester for having me on Friday! Serving #MN01 for over 50 years, it was great to get their insights on the local workforce and business climate.
As Rochester continues to grow, we need infrastructure that keeps up with that growth, improves mobility, and supports residents and local businesses. Last week in Rochester, we celebrated the 6th Street Bridge Project’s $19.9 million in federal funding that I helped deliver, which will be used for the design and construction of a bridge to connect neighbors across the Zumbro River.
I’m proud to support projects that will deliver real results for southern Minnesotans, and I’ll continue to advocate for infrastructure improvements throughout #MN01 that make our towns and cities even better places to live for future generations.
