The system failed Robert Roberson in every way. The courts have refused to consider evidence not only that Robert is innocent, but also that no crime ever occurred. The pardon board—supposedly a “safety valve”—refused to intervene. Only @GovAbbott can stop this execution now.

The death penalty protects no one: abolish it now. Women account for around 5 percent of death row inmates worldwide, and a large majority of those sentenced to death are from ethnic and racial minorities. Many of these women are non-literate, have intellectual or psychological disabilities, and have experienced gender-based violence.
