Private school vouchers have caused costs to surge in other states by diverting funds from public schools, causing budget deficits. In KY, this could lead to local property tax hikes to fill gaps.

Steeplechase artists are working hard on narratives in art, reflecting on their summer break. The sunglass lenses tell a story and highlight summer events that were unforgettable! ☀️🎨🕶️@steeplechaseel @Boone_County @ResingL

Grit is not the absence of fear.
It's the acknowledgement of it & having the willingness to still act.
It's being uncertain of an outcome, but remaining dedicated to it.
It's allowing the potential for failure in order to achieve success

A fun day at Steeplechase Elementary! The Newport Aquarium made a visit and brought stingrays and sharks! We learned a ton about these aquatic creatures and conservation. The students were so excited. Thank you @NewportAquarium, we loved it! 🦈❤️

Leadership is hard. Nobody said it would be easy.
🔺When people talk about you, keep leading.
🔹When people compliment you, keep leading.
🔺When your hard work goes unnoticed, keep leading.
Why? Because we are in the kid business. Kids are the reason schools exist. It isn’t about you or me. It’s about kids. When things are good, bad or ugly, keep leading.
When we keep showing up to lead, that’s when success will follow. That’s when kids’ pathways will be redirected. And that is when we know we are changing the world.
KEEP. LEADING.

Last week of April + Friday = Fun robot paintings! Today, we learned about “contrast” in art, utilizing black/white imagery on a colored background. Our primary Steeplechase artists loved their work and how it really intensified the robots.🤖 @steeplechaseel @Boone_County
