I'm running the Great North Run for Prostate Cancer UK. That's the first 10 metres! I wonder how I will get on with the next 21 and a bit km!
Prostate Cancer kills 1 in 8 men. One of those men was my dad.

Gracious God, we give thanks
for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
and may her example continue to inspire us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Don’t ignore the climate emergency and cost of living crisis as you draft energy security plans @BorisJohnson! That means
❌no new oil & gas production in the UK
✅investing in clean energy & efficient homes
It's time to secure a clean, green future for everyone #TheFutureWeWant

After contact with Government we hear that there is no change to guidance on places of worship. Worship is the work of God - not a social gathering - and gives the strength to love and serve.
In case you missed the first evening celebration at New Wine United Breaks Out you can catch up with it here...

I’ve seen a US version of this before, but found this more powerful: have you been the only person in the room of your race? Have you ever worried about ‘stop and search’?
How your ethnicity can give you an unfair advantage over others.

I asked Dave, my friend and brother in Christ, to share his thoughts on #BlackLivesMatter. I encourage you to watch it.

One of our year 10 students felt moved to write a poem about #BlackLivesMatter . It is an outstanding piece of work, I'm sure you'll agree. Well done Shyla!
One man went to mow... plus two men with strimmers and a lady with a hoe. Our usual team can't come to @chchalsager at the moment. So a big shout out to Andrea, Geoff, Billy and Colin. Great job - thank you.
