we can't win using the factories of yesterday either. help us exascale the industrial base. want to work on something hard? meaningful? rewarding? we can and will transform production into a sci-fi reality.

🏭🏭🦾🦾🚀 Always great to see and witness industrial revival and the future of manufacturing in action! Thanks for the tour @Omnifactory_UoN @UniofNottingham @MakeUK_
Reshoring critical parts manufacturing through localised micro-factories is a key component in this disconnect. @antonym_tech is setting out to do exactly this. Optimistic about digital supply chains, distributed manufacturing, & re/near shoring 🏭🇬🇧 . ukri.org/wp-content/uploads/…

I think making a standardization of manufacturing is key for this, the same way we have GCODE for additive manufacturing. In the meantime I think first standardizing BOMs like this get's pretty close: cq-warehouse.readthedocs.io/…. Now procedures just need to be standardized.
