You can only applaud Lisandro Martinez. The guts to do that 🤯 and he's absolutely spot on. #mufc
Another interesting note in this is that MacAnthony indicates Bowen gave permission.
This, plus the debacle on Saturday, might be an indicator that Bowen + Vince might not be entirely on the same page.

Not sure why you are persisting with this narrative Dale. Barry Fry called Mark Bowen to ask permission to interview your Manager. You guys sent 3 different emails I believe re compensation and gave us permission to Interview him. Nobody at my club offered your manager an interview until official permission was granted for the Interview regardless of the speculation or indeed the various statements you put out around it all. Regardless of what we both think of each other or previous encounters we have had, I would never approach any clubs manager without permission to speak to them re the job. Nor would Barry Fry.
I of course wish your club all the best for the rest of the season.
DMAC doubles down that Peterborough were given the green light to talk to Savage.

Forest green rovers women last season came 2nd after losing a single game, a brilliant season with their reward being their team disbanded to “focus on the men’s team”
This decision reflects 0 ambition this year, so what exactly was the point of the women’s team removal?

Forest Green fans need answers and now @DaleVince. Mark Bowen saying we’re looking (for a manager) and you’re saying we aren’t. We need something after that shambles. Lucky to only concede four. Relegation inbound rather than playoffs,
Dale Vince says we aren't actively recruiting a new manager
Mark Bowen says we're looking for a new manager
Does anyone know what's going on?

I don't understand why we wouldn't appoint a new manager.
We're a relatively poorly coached side, and we're 16th in the league.
So the argument that Savage wasn't responsible for the coaching, because the backroom staff handled it & therefore should continue, doesn't really make sense to me.
If those coaches have been responsible for the team's performances and we're underachieving, why would we simply continue with the same setup rather than bring in a new manager with fresh ideas and a different approach?

Club Statement on the future of FGR manager Robbie Savage
FGR Chairman Dale Vince said: “We have given Robbie Savage permission to speak to Peterborough.
He wanted to leave the club for personal reasons, reasons which we understand and respect.
He’s been offered the job, and we’re now in a negotiation with Peterborough on the terms.
We wish Robbie the very best.”
