Rwanda, Cambodia- they were genocides. Either the Israelis, with one of the most advanced military’s in the world aren’t trying or they are incompetent. Which is it?

SANDIE PEGGIE IS APPEALING
The Darlington Nursing Union welcomes the news that its member Sandie Peggie is appealing her case against the Royal College of Nursing.
Throughout this ordeal, Sandie has demonstrated an enormous amount of courage and determination. It takes immense strength to stand up, challenge decisions and continue fighting for what you believe is right, particularly when the battle involves an organisation that should have been there to represent you.
No healthcare professional should ever be abandoned by the very union they have paid to protect them.
That is precisely why the Darlington Nursing Union was established: to ensure that healthcare professionals, who believe in biological reality, have a voice, receive proper representation and are never left feeling that they have to fight alone.
Trade union membership should mean having someone in your corner when it matters most. It should mean support, solidarity and representation – not having to question whether your union will stand beside you when things get difficult.
Sandie, as you continue your fight, please know that we stand with you. Your case and courage has shown why alternative options for union representation on these issues is urgently needed.

The dismissal today of Sandie Peggie’s case against the Royal College of Nursing should concern every healthcare professional who believes in biological reality.
Bethany Hutchison, President of the Darlington Nursing Union, said:
“Sandie’s story shows why healthcare professionals need a union that understands their convictions before a crisis begins.
“The court’s decision does not erase the fears and lawful beliefs of nurses who believe their union may not represent them robustly when disputes involve biological sex and gender identity.
“Sandie’s experience shows how vulnerable a nurse can become when trust in union representation breaks down.
“Gender-critical nurses deserve representation from a union whose starting point is clear: biological sex is real, freedom of belief matters, and lawful single-sex protections must be defended.
“The Darlington Nursing Union exists to provide that representation. We will stand firmly alongside our members, seek early and effective resolutions, and defend them robustly if a dispute escalates.
"Our members should never have to question whether their union shares a commitment to defending their lawful rights."

... It's OK for Hamill to switch the question to 'yes, we need more careful discussion', and I agree. But maybe it's time to bite the bullet and say: no, not research, no more mmol/L Ramp tests on cross-sex hormones.
Because that's not the point.

The correction on pronouns is fine, ofc, but I wish there had been a correction on the 'more research' question from Keilar.
The female category is a sex category, not a performance category. Any treatment - call it 'GAC' or whatever - that reduces performance is irrelevant:
It doesn't change sex. ...
NEW: California attorney Julie Hamill corrects CNN's Brianna Keilar after she tried calling biological male track athlete AB Hernandez a girl.
Keilar was very confused during the interview & struggled to keep up.
Keilar: What would make this fair for her to compete?
Hamill: Who is her?
Keilar: AB.
Hamill: Okay. AB Hernandez is a male who identifies as a female. What would be fair is to have Hernandez competing in the male category.
@hamill_law sounds like she's talking to someone in middle school.

I’ve never told any trans person what they ‘should be.’ As far as I’m concerned, trans people can call themselves whatever they like and believe whatever they like about themselves. What trans people aren’t entitled to is universal agreement that they’ve changed sex, acclaim for their embodiment of sex stereotypes, the reconfiguration of laws around an objective untruth or women’s surrender of their sex-based rights.

This brightens up what is a gloomy day.
November will not only be Trans Awareness Month but also Islamophobia Awareness Month.
This will be like heaven on earth for the agitprop crew of "Queers for Palestine" but for the rest of us, it all promises to be a bit "preachy".
Brace.
This Islamophobia Awareness Month, we must shine a light on the abhorrent hatred and discrimination Muslims continue to face.
In the last year alone, religious hate crimes targeting Muslims rose by 15% in England and Wales.
This is utterly unacceptable. London will always stand against hatred, prejudice and discrimination.
