Cases of infant bleeding surged last year as more parents refused critical vitamin K injections for their newborns.
The vitamin helps the body form blood clots, and the CDC recommends a vitamin K shot within six hours of birth. wapo.st/4zw4jaM

So, wait… Russia kidnapped 22,000 Ukrainian children and Melania Trump has reunited some of them with their families and now the Russian kidnappers are praising her efforts. 🤔

This is a disgrace. Shame on Melania! And WH.
To set the scene: Kirill Dmitriev thanks the U.S. President’s wife for having “saved so many lives” and presents her with a picture signed by children: “We love you, Melania.”
And yet, no one—absolutely no one, truly no one—thinks to ask the guy: “Tell me, Kiryusha, could you perhaps explain how these people and these children ended up in danger in the first place? Because of whom, Kiryusha, did they have to hide in cellars to escape the bombing, go hungry, lose their loved ones, and perish themselves? Aren’t you even the least bit ashamed to look people in the eye, you repulsive, slippery character with no chin?”
It is time that this filth from Russia is no longer allowed into the White House, nor into the USA.

Meet Madam Jeanne Louise Calment, who had the longest confirmed human lifespan: 122 years, 164 days. Apparently, fate strongly approved of the way she lived her life. She was born in Arles, France, on February 21, 1875. The Eiffel Tower was built when she was 14 years old.
When she was 85, she took up fencing, and still rode her bike when she reached 100. At the age of 114, she starred in a film about her life, at age 115 she had an operation on her hip, and at age 117 she gave up smoking, having started at the age of 21 in 1896. She didn't give it up for health reasons; her reason was that she didn't like having to ask someone to help her light a cigarette once she was nearly blind.
Jeanne retained sharp mental faculties. When she was asked on her 120th birthday what kind of future she expected to have. Her reply, "A very short one."
Here are the Rules of Life from Jeanne Louise Calment:
"I'm in love with wine."
"All babies are beautiful."
"I think I will die of laughter."
"I've been forgotten by our Good Lord."
"I've got only one wrinkle, and I'm sitting on it."
"I never wear mascara; I laugh until I cry often."
"If you can't change something, don't worry about it."
"Always keep your smile. That's how I explain my long life."
"I see badly, I hear badly, and I feel bad, but everything's fine."
"I have a huge desire to live and a big appetite, especially for sweets."
"I have legs of iron, but to tell you the truth, they're starting to rust and buckle a bit."
"I took pleasure when I could. I acted clearly and morally and without regret. I'm very lucky."
“Being young is a state of mind, it doesn’t depend on one’s body. I’m actually still a young girl, it's just that I haven't looked so good for the past 70 years."
At the end of one interview, the journalist said, "Madame, I hope we will meet again sometime next year." To which Jeanne replied, "Why not? You're not that old; you'll still be here!”
I hope you enjoyed this little story and it inspires you to not take life too seriously, and live a little like Jeanne. And please remember growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional.

1 in 4 women in the UK have been raped or sexually assaulted since the age of 16
6 in 7 rapes against women in the UK are carried out by someone they know
5 in 6 women who are raped in the UK don’t report it to the police
Fewer than 3 in 100 rapes recorded by UK police in 2024 resulted in someone being charged that same year
It is an abhorrent crime committed by cowards. Every perpetrator put in prison is a blessing.

Michelle Williams, the star of All the Money in the World, was paid $80 a day to reshoot it. Less than $1,000 in all. Her co-star Mark Wahlberg got $1.5 million for the same reshoots. They were represented by the same agency. Nobody told her, and the director told the press that everyone had worked for free.
In the video below, two years later, she stands on stage and thanks a studio for the one thing she didn't get that time. Watch her face when she says it.
She got $80 a day.
He got $1.5 million.
More than 1,500 times as much.
Same film. Same reshoots. Same agency.
When USA Today reported it, Wahlberg called the gap "very awkward." He gave his $1.5 million to the Time's Up legal defense fund in her name.
She called it "one of the most indelible days of my life."
The money went to a good cause. It never went to her.
Two years later, holding an Emmy, she thanked her studio "for supporting me completely and for paying me equally."
If your co-star was paid 1,500 times more for the same work, would a donation in your name make it right?
Every day I pull one of these out of the records: a famous name, real numbers, and who got paid.
“If I go missing or disappear, it was not of my own free will. If I turn up dead, it was not by my own hand.”
A Canadian woman has posted a terrifying public warning about a man she identifies as James Scott Stewart.
She alleges that in January 2026, while she was 40 weeks pregnant, Stewart brutally beat her, strangled her nearly to death, and forced castor oil down her throat.
She says she survived because the RCMP intervened.
Now, according to her account, a judge has decided Stewart will be safer on probation than behind bars. She says he will be free again in six weeks.
She also claims this is the eighth time the justice system has failed to protect her and her children.
And perhaps the most disturbing part of her message is that she is publicly identifying the person she fears will kill her.
This woman is telling the world she is afraid she won’t be alive in six weeks.
Her allegations and the court’s decision deserve immediate scrutiny.
I share about missing women all of the time. When do we start preventing this before it actually happens? This woman is begging for help. She knows he is coming for her.

They keep asking @AbdulElSayed and @NYCMayor to assure Jewish voters that they're going to feel safe when they're in office. Do they ever ask pro-Israel politicans if Muslims are going to feel safe when they're in office?
That's weird, right? It's actually the legislators arguing to fund a genocide who should make people feel unsafe. Especially their Muslim constituents, whose family members' lives might literally be in danger from that funding.
It's almost as if the media doesn't care about anyone's safety, they're just trying to do propaganda for Israel.

I would like to formally recognize Elizabeth Warren as a replacement nominee for Senate Majority Leader.
There is no Senator with a more progressive voting record—not even Bernie Sanders.
She is the only member of Congress to:
• Denounce AIPAC
• Refuse money from special interest groups
• Publicly post her tax returns every year
She supports:
• Universal healthcare
• Universal childcare
• Increasing the tax burden on billionaires
• Free public college for all
• Large-scale clean energy investments
• Overturning Citizens United
• Criminal justice reform, including ending private prisons
• Strong consumer protection (she helped create the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau)

FYI - This is why women don’t speak up. Society has lost it’s fucking mind - and it’s the people claiming to protect women and children - the ones who claim morality, who are the worst offenders. With my whole entire chest - FUCK YOU.
Don’t complain that women have turned into no limit beasts fueled by rage, with an insatiable hunger for justice. We’re the villains you created. I hope you hate every fucking second of it.

AIPAC just changed their name to the United Democracy Project (UDP), thinking we wouldn’t notice…
They pulled any continued funding under their prior PAC, in an attempt to disassociate from the hate they receive regularly, and throw us off their track.

If you’re wondering how hard it is to get a rape conviction, it took six women, all of whom
testified against him, to get the jury to believe he raped only one of them. Now imagine how hard it is when a woman on her own is trying to get justice against her rapist.
