If you throw 80+ pitches in a HS game in March or April, your day is over as a fielding position player.
If you are a coach doesn’t understand this, I would be happy to explain why.
If you are a coach who disagrees with this, you are a moron.

Long toss tips:
• Massage arm on the way out
• Throw with an arc
• How easy can you reach your partner?
• Crow hop off back leg starting at 90’
• Pulldown on way in
Most throw too hard too early.
Prepare the arm first.

Kids will throw slower to throw more strikes and make coaches happy.
What kids often fail to realize is that even if they throw 100% strikes, the coach won’t put them in the spots they want to be in with that velo.
So you’re actually better off working on dev vs. performing.

there are only 2 possible scenarios with CMC this year
1) you draft him and he misses 80% of the season
2) you pass on him and he leads all of fantasy in scoring

“How do you work on locating?”
I get asked this every day.
1) Reduction of variance in mechanics. Go make your mechanics as repeatable as possible.
2) Reduction of head movement. Make it as easy as possible for your body to see and maintain the target location.

Kids will do an hour workout, shoulder warmup, weighted balls and football throws then play a lazy game of catch.
You should be ready to play crisp catch from the very first throw!

Don’t play catch with zero focus, goal or intent.
The worst bad habits form fastest when you’re not trying.

Our coaching staff saw close to 30 HS games this weekend. One thing we all agreed was missing: passion.
Not fake, clout chasing, show up the opponent stuff. Genuine passion. Dudes that love to play the game and play it hard.
Want to get on our radar? Show us you love the game.
