1News justifies racism in tonight's news
Ask these 3 questions before you watch:
1. Who stands to lose if we choose patients based on ethnicity; instead of need?
2. What impacts can we expect if medical professionals are chosen based on ethnicity; instead of merit?
3. If we spend more money on one ethnicity than others; how does that impact the other ethnicities?
Here's some clarification: "Systemic Racism" is the rules, policies, and social structures that inherently disadvantage racial groups while granting power or privilege to other racial groups.

Labour wanted a health debate and they got it! This is a must-watch. youtu.be/9w8lBX61TS8?si=-UDa…

Labour wants a truck driver in Pakuranga, a builder in Howick, and a tradie in Bucklands Beach to help pay off the student loans of lawyers and other high earners.
Let that sink in for a moment. Hardworking Kiwis footing the bill so that some of the highest earners in the country can pay off their degrees faster.
Students who borrow from taxpayers should be expected to pay it back. That's only fair on the millions of Kiwis who graft, pay their taxes and never ask for a handout.
We already have one of the most generous student support schemes in the western world. Apparently that's still not enough for Labour, who reckon a few hundred million more won't hurt.
Classic Labour. Add it to the tab. They've already racked up more than $18 billion in unfunded spending promises, and the gap between what they've promised and what they can actually pay for keeps growing.
National is taking a smarter, fairer path.
We want to help graduates get ahead by reducing the compulsory student loan repayment rate from 12% to 10%. Graduates keep more of what they earn while still paying back what they borrowed. No gimmicks, no shifting the burden onto everyone else, just a fairer deal for people who did the right thing and took out a loan in good faith.
Because here's the truth Labour won't say out loud. There's no such thing as free money. Someone always pays, and too often it's the tradie in East Auckland.
I'd rather focus on growing our economy, creating good jobs, backing our farmers, tradies, workers and small businesses, and giving people a real shot at getting ahead through hard work and ambition.
That's the real choice this election. Reward effort, or reward everyone else picking up the tab.

What's more @RobinBGrieve, the @TaxpayersUnion have published a literal receipt showing they sourced the information from somewhere totally different and above board.
Nicky Hager is biased, unprofessional, ill-informed and unscrupulous.
His work of fiction should be shredded.

The true history of New Zealand Education
Dame Elizabeth Rata is frequently vilified by the Left and Maori activists because she refuses to succumb to their ideology and instead discusses history based on verifiable historic records.
Rata's new weekly podcast on the History of New Zealand Education will likely become the seminal resource for students and educators wanting to understand New Zealand's Education development and history.
In this introduction, Rata asks:
- Why did New Zealand have one of the best education systems in the world from the 19th century to the 1970s?
- Why was that remarkable legacy deliberately dismantled? What can be done to restore quality education?

A wider gender pay gap could very well be socially beneficial - it might encourage the traditional division of labour where men work and women stay at home to keep the house and raise the children. If more women prioritised that over a career, we wouldn’t have the birth rate problems we currently have.
As a society we need to be asking how we can encourage women to prioritise family over career, not continuing to pursue these outdated ideas about equalising pay between sexes - it’s an evolutionary dead end.

So, which is it?
Te Pāti Māori says whakapapa is enough.
Now, Rawiri Waititi says MPs may whakapapa Māori, but it doesn’t count because they’re not “kaupapa Māori-based MPs”.
So is whakapapa enough, or only when you have the “right” politics?
Māori are allowed to disagree, vote differently, and hold views across the political spectrum.
No party gets to decide which Māori voices count.
