If use of the term “cell” is incriminating then there are a lot of churches with “cell groups” that are potentially in trouble! 😂
Replying to @HudaAmmori
He says step 1 of the underground manual says "create a cell" and then laughs in astonishment at this. He says it says brainstorm with your cell and be creative.

If God is in charge, why did he let our country get taken over by Muslims and communists? Something for people to think about.

Firstly, the Zionism is Racism motion is NOT antisemitic. Secondly, you are one of the bullies I am hearing about attacking anyone inside your own party who tries to raise legitimate concerns with the direction Labour has gone with regards to this particular matter. Thirdly, the decision to terminate agreements that permit the functioning of 11 local authorities in the UK demonstrates a complete lack of political maturity, intellectual honesty, and an abandonment of the local residents that councillors are elected to serve. Now, in these 11 councils, we shall witness the devastating results of this despicable decision by the national Labour leadership and the NEC. Forcing an ultimatum on Green Party councillors to disavow the Zionism is Racism motion threatens puts these joint administrations at significant risk of collapse. Fourth, the interference in the internal policies of another political party and the decision to place in jeopardy the functionality of local councils over this issue is going to do immense harm to the wellbeing of local residents. This country is still facing a cost-of-living crisis and public services remain under immense pressure. Forcing the collapse of a functioning local government over a foreign policy issue—which has no bearing on how bins are collected, how social care is delivered, or how our schools are run—is a failure of duty for elected representatives. Fifth, I am left asking why is it that the Labour Party - the party of working class people - has decided that its priority is shielding Israel and Zionism from criticism as opposed to prioritising the smooth, professional delivery of services for local residents? Sixth, this ultimatum forces a narrow, dogmatic framing onto a complex historical and human reality that seeks to completely insulate Zionism from systemic critique. By forcing this issue into a local governance crisis, you and your cronies risk doing immense damage to various communities. It is divisive, threatens cohesion, and is extremely detrimental to intercommunal relations. Forcing a division between Labour and the Greens on this basis risks fracturing local cohesion and, dangerously, fomenting the very antisemitism that you claim that you want to defeat. When a local council stops functioning smoothly, when political agreements on power-sharing break down, and when services suffer, people look for someone to blame. By hyper-focusing local politics on Zionism and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, you have happily assisted the creation of an environment ripe for the scapegoating and targeting of Jews. By conflating Jews with Israel & Zionism, pretending as though the decision to withdraw from coalitions with the Greens is about them, you are complicit in the antisemitic redirection of anger pointing it straight at the Jewish community. Activist and author April Rosenblum has profoundly warned, the ruling classes have historically exploited the vulnerability of Jewish people, using them as a shield to make their own harmful political decisions invisible. By displacing political failures onto a debate about Jewish identity and Zionism, the establishment risks shifting public anger onto the Jewish community, making them the target of resentment when local services fail. It also risks fomenting anti-Palestinian racism and islamophobia as local residents could also be redirected down the route of targeted hatred towards Palestinians, Arabs and even Muslims. It is an outrage that the Labour Party, threatened as it is by the surge in support for the Green Party, has chosen to manipulate these issues in such a manner. Shame on you and everyone who is part of this decision.

Fact check: Labour are arming a genocide. Andy Burnham and Ed Miliband offer apologies over Gaza - but continue to arm a genocide. Labour call those who oppose the genocide - even those of us who are Jewish - antisemitic. More and more people see through this absolute charade.

Margaret Owen is currently locked-on outside RAF Lakenheath in opposition to UK complicity in Israel’s genocide. A formidable Jewish 94 year old human rights barrister is doing more to prevent genocide than the people elected to represent us.
Lakenheath still blocked. 94-year-old human rights lawyer, Margaret Owen, says: "At the age of 94 this is a wonderful opportunity for me to take part in a lock on, which I'd never heard of before, and to stand against the war machines that are destroying millions of lives."

This is an absurd and outrageous decision. What kind of society are we living in where world-renowned authors and campaigners are treated as enemies and threats? The real threat is this government’s assault on freedom of expression. This is not an isolated incident — and the government should know that it is gaining a bad reputation for censorship and repression. We know why the government has taken this decision: because it wants to silence criticism of Israel, as well as its own complicity in genocide. It will not succeed.

Like the withdrawal of Sally Rooney’s books and the arrest of thousands of peaceful protesters for simply holding signs, this appears to be yet another draconian consequence of the decision to proscribe Palestine Action. When I voted against that ban, I warned it would take us down a dangerous path that would undermine key democratic rights, including the freedom of expression. The proscription must be overturned and this clampdown on free speech reversed.

Andreas Malm is one of the world's pre-eminent climate scholars. Denying him entry is another example of how Britain's alliance with genocidal Israel is corroding our democracy. I'll be interviewing Andreas Malm today.
Swedish academic Andreas Malm has been denied entry to the UK over his plans to appear on a panel alongside Palestine Action cofounder Huda Ammori because the gov't says his “presence in the UK is not considered to be conducive to the public good”. 🔗: aje.news/rvo1e1

The Home Office has banned Swedish author Andreas Malm from entering the UK, saying his presence in the country “is not considered to be conducive to the public good”. Malm – a climate academic and the author of How to Blow Up a Pipeline – was due to speak alongside a co-founder of Palestine Action at an event run by Tribune magazine about the impact of the ban on the group on free speech. He told BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme on Friday morning that he could not see any other explanation for the Home Office’s decision than his scheduled appearance on the panel. Malm said in a separate statement: “That I am prevented from going to the UK to sit on a public panel, speak to the BBC, attend an academic conference, I think it is nothing short of scandalous.” He added: “One was under the impression that the Burnham government had slightly more respect for the basic notions of freedom of expression and other democratic rights. I appeal for this decision to be overturned.” Malm is an outspoken critic of Israel’s genocide in Gaza who has been interviewed by Novara Media several times. In 2024, he told Novara Media’s Ash Sarkar that he had been finding it “incredibly difficult to emotionally engage with the climate question since… the genocide started”. Irish author Sally Rooney, whose books can no longer be sold in the UK due to the Palestine Action ban, described Malm as one of “the most brilliant and influential intellectuals working in Europe today”. Barring him from the UK is “a sad and frightening act of cultural self-harm”, she said. Tribune’s editor, Oliver Eagleton, said it was “deeply disturbing” that Malm was “seemingly being censored for speaking out about censorship”, adding that it is “now commonplace for authors and academics to be treated as terrorists because they support Palestinians facing genocide”. Malm’s case recalls that of leftwing US commentators Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur, who were blocked from entering the UK by Keir Starmer’s Labour government in June, also on the grounds that their presence would “not be conducive to the public good”. Palestine Action became the first direct action group in British history to be proscribed as a terror organisation last summer. The Tribune event at which Malm was due to speak was timed to coincide with the start of a supreme court challenge to the ban on Wednesday.
