Comedians know the talking points of America. America is not going to let Charlie die in vain. Charlie was so consequential, changed so many lives and won elections. Tim Dillon today blames midterms on Charlie’s demise. Then transitions into merch and ICE raids flawlessly. Only Tim can do this. 😂 Take it away Tim:

@RealCandaceO Just wanted to let you know that tonight in a completely sold out show at MSG @DaveChappelle did a bit about Charlie, in which he shouted you out as a real friend. He also said he can’t stop watching your show. 🫶🏻 💐

virtually every democrat regardless of faction ran against the establishment, if they do not deliver tangible & immediate changes inside the party like appointing dynamic leaders that will echo the fighting spirit the moment requires, we will lose the momentum - voters will see this as a betrayal. no amount of msm narratives around schumer's tactical prowess will change this. there's a reason why both hakeem & chuck are unpopular among dem voters. we didn't forget how they maneuvered around the last two years. we also have to destroy the seniority structure in the party & appoint competent people to the right committees!! zohran proved that a young dynamic figure can reshape the entire political landscape! i am very worried that "insider politics" and corporate focused leadership decisions is going to take us back to business as usual politics when we voted for CHANGE. we voted for a FIGHT. we voted for ACCOUNTABILITY.

Former Trump adviser Calley Means alleges that now former White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles blocked policy initiatives because she needed donations from the sugar industry. “Calley, we can't do this. I need sugar money.” “I need the money from the sugar people to win the midterms.” Means says those were her direct words.

Voters sent Trump a clear message on Tuesday: enough chaos, enough cruelty, lower prices. His answer? Make the main architect of the chaos, Stephen Miller, his chief of staff.
Stephen Miller is the new Chief of Staff.

Democrats need to be prepared to use a different playbook, one that includes inherent contempt, one that abolishes the 5-minute rule, one that meets this moment because with this pick, the WH is on war-footing.
Trump names Stephen Miller chief of staff:

Crazy how well fear-mongering works, isn’t it? She has every reason to vote blue, yet voted red. This is what propaganda networks like Newsmax do. You gladly hand them the keys to your mind.

When idiots like this make idiotic statements like this they are asserting that... 1) Red states under total GOP control (like Texas, South Carolina, Mississippi, Kansas, etc) are so inept that Dems were able to falsify ridiculous amounts of votes in every county. 2) Every poll predicting huge Dem gains are coordinated and false, even Republican pollsters like Fox and Rasmussen. 3) Dems "forgot" to rig the districts and states where they lost. 4) Republican lawyers and officials are so stupid, they can't prove a single case of wholesale voter fraud. This is what chronic MAGA ignorance looks like and America has had more than enough of it. This willful ignorance is one of the dozen reasons you lost so badly Tuesday night.
2026 was stolen like 2020.

El-Sayed: Does anybody organize in Boise, Idaho? No, not even Republicans. Why? Because it's assumed that they're gonna win, and so they don't have to do any work anyway.  So what would happen if we actually showed up and said, I think you need a union and healthcare. What would happen? I'd love to see it. We should do that.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The mayor of Boise, Idaho is Lauren McLean who has served in the role since 2020. Despite the position of Mayor being non-partisan Mayor McLean identifies as a Democrat. ballotpedia.org/Lauren_McLean boisestatepublicradio.org/show/idaho-mat…

There needs to be a BIG push informing people that Republicans made most of their healthcare cuts begin in 2027. This was something they put in their big rip-off bill so when stuff starts getting worse, they could blame the Dems for it. Healthcare premiums ARE ALREADY UP 26% because of Trump’s policies, so when people lose their healthcare and have to go to the emergency room more, it DRIVES UP prices for all of us. They knew they were likely to lose the midterms because their policies are unpopular, so to give themselves a talking point in the ‘28 presidential race, they created a bigger problem so they could blame Democrats for it. They made your life worse for politics. Vile. This is literally a five-alarm atomic bomb waiting to go off and not enough are talking about it. It’s a big deal!!!

He’s gonna lose the primary. He wins. He’s gonna lose the general. He wins. He’s gonna win only narrowly. He wins by 7. All the while, record levels of money spent against him; the president and media target him daily with racist abuse; and his former Dem rival endorses his GOP opponent. But apparently, he is an ‘under performer.’ 🤷🏽‍♂️

What’s happening in Texas right now is a disgrace to our country. Republicans got curb-stomped out of office; now they’re trying to call a special session to take away the new government’s powers on their way out. THEY DON’T WANT GINA HINOJOSA TO CUT TAXES FOR THE PEOPLE because their big donors are demanding it go to them instead. Anti-American to their core.

Worst media coverage of any race in the entire country. There was no issue with black voters or with Jewish democrats and Democrats for Mike Rogers was a fake movement. It all just amounted to one bitter lady crashing out bc she got beat.
Mike Rogers ended up at 5% in Detroit, short of the 7% he got in 2024. 'Dems for Mike Rogers' wasn't really a thing there.
