Most middle of the road centrist voters are thoroughly pissed off at Tory, Reform, Restore politicians and activists. Because of the split Labour with or without LibDems will just sail on as we become progressively more like France with the ensuing consequences.

York cobblestones. 2006 vs 2026. Well maintained in 2006. Can’t be arsed to maintain properly and just plaster with tarmac patches in 2026. British civic pride decay in a nutshell.

Genuine question: can anyone please explain what’s supposed to be so wrong about our EU relationship? We still have a free trade deal with them & are free to strike free trade deals globally now. But we don’t have to accept free movement of people nor pay them billions in fees.

Whoops @UniversityofLaw May I suggest that the first step is to spell ‘barrister’ correctly?

If Reform support continues to fall, joining the Lib Dems and Greens in single figures, the Tories would be ahead of Labour. If Burnham doesn’t hold an early election, he may well end up regretting it as much as Brown did.

Rachel Reeves proposed borrowing £97 bn more next year than the Conservative government plan she inherited. John Healey wants to borrow even more and is trying to find ways within the Fiscal rules. A bad idea.

Was @AngelaRayner lying, or just ignorant, when she said ‘exports to the EU have fallen 20% since Brexit?’ Why didn’t @bbclaurak challenge her on that?

The only reason Labour is leading in the polls is because the right wing vote is split evenly between the Tories and Reform now. There only ever used to be one right wing party.

As I predicted, Reform couldn't professionalise, peaked too soon, and once it's polling 3rd for long enough, a lot of Conservative-Reform switchers are going to want to come back and back the stronger horse, leading to a death spiral for Reform.
