The Weight We Carry
We don't always remember when the weight became so heavy.
The mistakes. The responsibilities. The people we couldn't save. The people we lost.
But we kept pushing, convinced that letting go meant failure.
Even when our strength was nearly gone.
Perhaps the hardest lesson in life is realizing that not everything we've carried was ours to bear.
And sometimes, the greatest strength we can show is finally allowing ourselves to put it down.
The old smokehouse on my Mom and Dadโs farm. when I was a kid, we actually used it to smoke all our meat.
