[Richard Burton Voice]: “No-one would have believed in the last years of the twentieth century that lesbians would be accused of actual violence against a marginalised group for saying they do not want to date males with beards and testicles..."

It’s because they are a heterosexual couple. Her son is a man and his partner is a woman. That gives the game away that non-binary is nonsense. (Replies turned off of course).

If you told me that aliens have been beaming a special type of radiation at earth for the last three decades that makes everyone dumber it would honestly explain a lot.
Wow, a pretty damning article with diverse lines of evidence.

Same-sex attracted kids being send to gender clinics to be told they are actually “trans” are… drumroll… all these things.
Do you mean distress over being gay and feeling like you don't fit in and not wanting anyone to know? Yes, of course. What does that have to do with trans people "being confused" and actually being gay?

You've avoided nearly all of my questions, Norah, because you're literally incapable of answering them. Your mind is firmly closed to any evidence or facts that undermine your preferred narrative. You consider it immoral for anyone to even question you, even though you voluntarily and confidently entered this discussion. You're like a flat-earther. Nothing I or anyone else says to you will permeate your stubborn quasi-religious beliefs, because to change your mind would take away a core part of your self image, which is as somebody who is kinder and better and more righteous than the nasty people still advocating for the safety of women and girls. You repeat your thought-terminating clichés and unevidenced assertions, which I assume sound clever inside your echo chamber, but which, outside it, make you appear not only dim, but a total moral vacuum. Increased risk to females? Who cares. Women threatened by violence? Of course those poor trans-identified men lash out when they meet resistance! What is a gender identity? You can't really say, but like the flat-earther, you're sure it exists, because your tribe is held together by belief in it, and pride themselves on their blind faith in it. I keep waiting for a single gender ideologue or trans activist to truly engage with the facts, but all of you sheer away from them like horses from fireworks. It truly is like talking to cult members who're incapable of engaging in rational debate and just keep chanting the mantras, consigning all serious questions to the 'evil' bin. I've been told I'm on the wrong side of history thousands of times. By debating people like you, I've come to realise that your ilk's idea of the 'right side of history' means stripping women and girls' of their rights, excusing male violence against women, siding with those issuing death and rape threats and attempting to suppress critical thought and freedom of speech. Maybe, like the flat-earthers, you genuinely think history will vindicate you. I believe people will look back on this period and analyse your arguments, not because they admire them, but because they're trying to fathom how so many supposedly intelligent people fell, hook, line and sinker for a bunch of vacuous, post-modern, pseudo-intellectual cobblers, while being completely indifferent to the real world harm they were enabling.

I can’t reply on that thread, but what “evidence”? Same-sex attracted children are being told by their homophobic parents that they are “trans” & being sent to gender clinics.
The evidence shows that is not true.

Many children sent to gender clinics are sane-sex attracted. If crazy adults didn’t lie to them that “dysphoria” meant they need to be medicalised for line, they’d grow up gay. “Gender dysphoria” is not “trans”. How come you trans activists have no clue what they are arguing?
People know if they're gay and people know when they have gender dysphoria. They're two very different things. Gay people don't go thru a "maybe I'm a different gender" phase."

I listened to this but I’m still unclear why neurodivergence caused this person to dress like a disco Fu Manchu bar mitzvah magician from planet vulcan
Looney Leftoids in Saskatoon, SK talk about neurodivergence like it’s real. However, neurodivergence is a branding exercise, not biology. Everyone’s brain is shaped by unique combinations of thousands of genetic variants. Attention, social processing, sensory thresholds, and executive function are all continuous traits. There is no natural “neurotypical” baseline, just statistical averages. DNA doesnt care about your hashtags and delusions

This apology from disability charity Scope, for cancelling my choir’s London Marathon performance because of my gender-critical views, is required to stay on its website for seven days. Today is Day 6. Women don’t always get the apologies they deserve. So I’d be grateful if you could help make sure this one is seen by sharing it over the next 24 hours (link below). 🙏 Thanks again to @SpeechUnion for supporting my legal case and helping secure this apology.

People who have been in research fields develop a felt sense that most "research" (in almost any field that isn't exactingly technical) is research theater, and many superstar careers enjoy star status not because of a unique connection to the truth but because of a unique connection with an audience. No one really has the time or stature to, from a position of objectivity and trust, bring popular researchers to heel. But it will get increasingly hard to hide from serious critique. The machines can do critique now, at the level of depth and rigor previously only possible for the academically deranged. We're going to have to revise a lot of what we "know" about the world that isn't really knowledge but is actually just received popular consensus - like floating voltages without grounding wires. The grounding wires are coming.
Tyler Cowen: 'I am not even sure what to say at this point. We need a radical revaluation of this work, and of the associated policy arguments. More generally, this is only a single step in the story of how AI is going to revise economic science, and indeed past research more generally. As I stress in many of my recent talks, there will be significant gains and losses in status, with the losses often outweighing the gains. I see this as one of those cases.'

"I would suggest that gobbledygook is far more effective in propagating left-wing and progressive opinions than reasoned argument, for the simple reason that progressive opinions, once explicitly stated, expose themselves to the threat of refutation, something that they do not always survive. The purpose of the jargon is not to find novel reasons for the posture of cultural opposition, but to render that posture impregnable, by putting it beyond rational debate. The many 'methods' of the postmodernist curriculum have one thing in common, which is that they do not argue for their political posture, but assume it, and at the same time conceal that assumption deep within a protective carapace of nonsense. In this respect they are theological, rather than scientific, theories: theories designed not to establish some belief, but to protect that belief from rational criticism".

Scientists & science journalists decry the public's rejection of science, but are oblivious to the major cause: the perception, sometimes correct, that scientists are just another political faction. Among the guiltiest perpetrators are the recent editors of Scientific American, who turned this once-beloved treasure into a left-wing propaganda rag. This absolutely does not justify the Trump administration's unconstitutional meddling, but the new owners are right to restore it to its mission of explaining science to Americans.
