First of all, in La Liga you would have to get rid of 70% of your players due to FFP rules. You can freely spend in France because the state allows you to do so.
Tu mets le PSG en Liga je pense qu’on finit la saison à 400 buts hein mdrrrrrrrrrr

🚨🎙️ Unai Emery: We played against a good team today, this is a good thing for us because we don’t normally face a team like this in the premier league. Jesus Christ he just ended the premier league vs Laliga debate. 😭😭

Just want to say, I’m so proud of Brian Farinas. He’s been thrown into an almost unfair situation. I couldn’t think of many more challenging contexts to make your first few appearances in *professional football*. So much fight, grit and determination. And of course, the level of intelligence, refinement and maturity you’d only associate with a La Masia grad.

Three years ago, before Hansi Flick, where exactly was this team? Some of you need to show a little gratitude, you dumbfucks. It’s not entirely his fault that he’s working with a defence full of inexperienced boys. (Although I’ll admit rejecting Bastoni was a decision he deserves criticism for.) Cut the man some slack. He’s done more than enough to earn a little patience and trust. Not every setback means the manager suddenly doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Guardiola in June 2026: The UEFA Champions League is a competition that destroys projects and I hope that won't be the case here. We shouldn't think that, just because we don't win it, everything that's been built isn't good. The league is the competition that brings you consistency and continuity. In the Champions League, on the other hand, you have to arrive at the final stages in good form, without injuries in the team, and the impact of refereeing is huge and colossal in this competition. That's why the important thing is that the daily work is excellent, that the team continues to progress and improve, and that they don't believe that, just because they don't reach the Champions League final or win it, the season is considered bad. I wish people understood that we don't see what managers see. Managers want to win football matches. They don't have time to play the games that supporters accuse them of playing. If a player was good enough, or the best option, they would play.

NOTE: The BMC pulls down actor @deespeak Dia Mirza’s eco-friendly Diwali video after protests by local BJP and Shiv Sena leaders, but retains similar videos featuring Ajinkya Rahane, Madhuri Dixit and Nishigandha Wad. So what exactly is the objection? A ‘no firecrackers’ Diwali message from the local authority, or Dia Mirza delivering it? Is religion becoming the criterion for deciding who can promote an eco-friendly Diwali? And what happened to the inclusive, cosmopolitan Mumbai we grew up and still take such pride in?

His first official game in four months after a serious injury. He had the captain’s armband taken away from him. People accused him of avoiding games. False reports about his injury were spread. He went from being the club’s first captain to the fourth. His love and loyalty to Barcelona were questioned. He was even asked to play in a position that wasn’t his own. That’s a lot to go through, isn’t it? But none of it broke him. He came back stronger than ever. Frenkie de Jong is a remarkable person. A character like his is hard to find.

Mr. Kannan, with all due respect, I don’t think your tweet fully captures the reality of professional badminton. A first-round exit at Wimbledon earns £80,000. Winning the China Open, one of badminton’s richest tournaments, earns $140,000. Lose in the first round? Just $2,000. Yet our expenses are largely similar. Travel, coaches, physios, trainers and support teams. I’ve had long conversations with Rohan Bopanna about this very disparity. I agree that established athletes should strive to be financially independent. I’ve been fortunate to have wonderful sponsors, but not everyone has that privilege. That’s also why organisations like @OGQ_India are so important. More importantly, if you read Mihir’s article in full, you’ll see that younger players had to compete without coaches, while several withdrew from tournaments. I can find ways to fund my tour. But what about the 18-year-old chasing her dreams, hoping to become the next Sindhu or Lakshya? And I must acknowledge the tremendous support the Government of India and @Media_SAI have extended to athletes like us over the years. Their contribution to Indian sport cannot be understated. Accountability is absolutely necessary. But supporting athletes isn’t bleeding the system. It’s investing in India’s sporting future. And we shouldn’t lose sight of that.
How long will our elite athletes, who are professionals, bleed the system. I mean, can not a PV Sindhu or Lakshya Sen fund own tours. Look at a sport like tennis, players get nothing. I will not find fault with @Media_SAI here

Since Hansi Flick took charge of Barcelona, the club has made just €174 million available to him for new signings. For comparison, Luis Enrique has spent €974 million at PSG since taking over one season before Flick joined Barça. Mourinho has spent €228 million, Simeone €538 million since 2024, Manchester City €1 billion and Arsenal €600 million. These figures put things into perspective. Flick is expected to compete with Europe’s biggest clubs despite having a fraction of the transfer budget available to their managers. A reminder of the financial circumstances he’s working under and the scale of the challenge he faces at Barcelona.

Gavi is in the "uncomfortable question" zone, as is Bernal. Both, coming back from serious injuries, have yet to display the players they were, never mind the players they can be. Flick isn't running a charity.
🚨 Hansi Flick: “I don’t see Gavi as a suitable player for the right-back”. “We all know his skills and he’s always an available option, but once the match starts, that option can sometimes disappear”. “Of course, I’ve spoken with him about his role to give him confidence”.

I still don’t understand why Richie McCaw played the entire Rugby World Cup with a broken foot. He could have easily played 30–45 minutes, gone to the sideline and spent the rest of the match screaming instructions and cheering his teammates on like a football manager. Thats what categorised as true greatness these days. Inspire your team from sidelines > playing full 80 spilling blood and sweat. #Rugby

❤️ My beautiful boy deserves to be remembered with love, not hate. ❤️ Yesterday, a Coventry fan used a photograph of Bradley to taunt Sunderland supporters. As Bradley’s mam, this is heartbreaking, especially as it’s one of my favourite photographs of him. Just look at that smile. I remember that day like it was yesterday. He was so happy, having so much fun. Those moments were precious because they were few and far between. So much of Bradley’s short life was spent battling cancer and enduring treatments no child should ever face. To see such a beautiful memory used in such a cruel way really does make my heart hurt. 💔 We are a football-loving family who follow Sunderland home and away. I’m all for football banter, but surely mocking a child who died from cancer is not banter? I hope the club takes appropriate action and the young lad’s family help him understand how hurtful his actions were. I don’t want hatred directed towards him, so please please don't, just for him to learn from this. Behind that photograph is a little boy who was loved beyond measure and a family who miss him every day. Thank you to everyone who has defended Bradley and shown us so much love. It means more than you know. ❤️ What some people don’t realise is that Bradley’s story didn’t end when his life did. Because of Bradley, children’s lives are being saved, hundreds of families have received vital support, and children facing unimaginable battles are being given hope. Through Super Brad’s Pad, families can escape hospital life, spend precious time together and make memories that last forever. That is Bradley’s legacy. The difference my little boy continues to make in this world. No amount of cruelty will ever take that away. So rather than let this photograph be remembered for hatred, I want it remembered for what it truly represents. My beautiful little boy, enjoying one of the happiest days of his life, with the biggest smile on his face. 💙 That is how I want the world to remember him. #CancerHasNoColours ❤️💙🤍💚🩷🖤🧡

Harry kane missed a pen and i didn't see a single clip of it or it being discussed but imagine if yamal had missed a pen a week after winning the balon d'or. They would have said that shit was rigged, worst balon dor winner ever
You can tell nobody watches Bayern because there isn’t a single discussion about Olise being pocketed by Svensson vs Dortmund. When it’s Yamal they’re counting every misplaced pass
