Cory Mills lost re-nomination in the Republican Primary for #FL07; losing to former broadcaster Ryan Elijah Mills faces a number of scandals, both personal and financial. The result was crushing 10 point loss, driven heavily by a landslide against him in Seminole #flapol

Last night, Stanford graduate Everton Blair was elected to serve the remainder of the congressional term in the suburban Atlanta-based GA-13. He defeated Marcye Scott, the daughter of the late Rep. David Scott, who represented the district until his death in April.

DON'T EVEN START CENTRAL COUNT TRUTHERISM
i don't believe the results from Wisconsin like i genuinely believe backroom deals were made to cheat Hong out of her margin of victory from AP, "28,000 absentee ballots from Milwaukee [were] delayed until early in morning of Aug. 12"? come on!!

People from outside of Milwaukee are losing their minds over the results. It’s not Boomers, endorsements from AOC/Bernie or lack of TV ads that drove the results tonight. The city of Milwaukee wasn’t convinced enough to vote for Francesca. Campaigning in the suburbs for the vibes doesn’t win elections.

Take your proxy fights somewhere else, national media folks. This ain't it.
I don't think Francesca Hong is a typical progressive movement candidate and I don't think David Crowley is a typical "establishment" candidate and that's what makes Wisconsin's Democratic primary so fascinating.

As expected, later ballots broke more favorably for Keohokalole, who narrowly won the latest ballot drops. Case's margin decreased by roughly 3% but still leads Keohokalole by more than 20 points.
Incumbent U.S. Representative Ed Case handily defeated progressive challenger Jarrett Keohokalole in Hawaii's first congressional district, winning nearly 60% of the vote in the first vote drop, which is expected to contain the lion's share of ballots cast in the election.

1864 saw most of the Union back Abraham Lincoln during his re-election bid, and Wisconsin was no exception. Lincoln did best in Western/Southern WI, as well as soldiers fighting in the Civil War, while McClellan did best among the heavily German Eastern Shore.
