Queen Camilla is in Wiltshire today for the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Summit. She’ll hear from speakers including Dame Nicole Jacobs, the Domestic Abuse Commissioner for England and Wales, and speak about the people who have inspired her work.
It’s important that the voices of those working to end abuse are heard—and that this issue continues to receive attention. I’m glad Queen Camilla is using her platform to help shine a light on their work. 💜

It’s pretty dry around our Kaluku Neonate Nursery, so Kaikai and Bungalu are making the most of every fresh bunch of greens. Today they hit the jackpot!
Bungalu has been tucking into grown-up food for a while now, but at 17 months old he still has a bottle of milk every three hours, day and night.
He arrived with very little energy, having survived a lion attack, a storm, and weeks on his own before the community helped rescue him. Now he’s filling out – so much so that his Keepers predict he will grow into a very big elephant in the fullness of time.

Finishing touches ahead of this evening’s State Banquet… ✨
Tonight, The King and Queen will host a State Banquet for the Sultan of Oman at Windsor Castle.
☕️ Inspired by the Omani ritual of Kahwa, a collection of special teas will be served.
While Kahwa is traditionally a spiced coffee, the concept has been adapted to draw on the long-standing British love of tea while preserving the aromatic spices and flavours that make Kahwa so distinctive: fragrant cardamom, delicate rose, sweet dates, and gentle warming spices.
Guests will be invited to choose from an Iced Earl Grey & Date, an Iced Mint & Rose, or a Warm Cardamom-Spiced Blend sweetened with Windsor Honey.
Together, they reflect the warmth and hospitality shared by both Omani and British traditions. 🇬🇧🇴🇲

A surprise engagement for the Princess of Wales (it wasn’t publicly announced in advance) at Café 98 in Hoveton.
It’s @EACH_hospices first and only café, located within a retail store.
The Princess was keen to recognise the dedication of volunteers and to highlight the important role played by charity retail and community fundraising in supporting children's hospice care.

It’s a girl! Ex-orphan Chyulu has just arrived at our Ithumba stockades with a surprise in tow – a beautiful, brand-new baby girl. We’ve named her Chili.
This is a big moment for Chyulu, and for all of us have been part of her story from the very beginning. We rescued this special orphan 20 years ago, then spent the next decade nurturing her into the confident, competent elephant she is today.
Chili is Chyulu’s third calf – and while she is raising all her babies as wild elephants, she has introduced her human family to each one. We look forward to seeing little Chili blossom under the excellent guidance of her mum, just like big siblings Cheka and Charli.

Very powerful speech by His Majesty. This is the Royal Family at their best - giving comfort and support to the British people in the darkest of times.
Sixty years on, we remember the 144 people who lost their lives in the Aberfan disaster.
Today, The King and The Queen, with The Prince of Wales, spent time at the Aberfan Memorial Garden and the Aberfan and Merthyr Vale Community Centre to honour their memory.
The Aberfan Memorial Garden stands on the site of Pantglas School, where 109 children and 5 teachers died when the coal tip collapsed onto the village.
Watch His Majesty’s speech in full on our YouTube channel (link in bio).
