When the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 came before the Rules Committee, I offered Rep. Meeks’s amendment to block President Trump from waiving Russian sanctions. My Republican colleagues voted against it.
On Friday, President Trump did exactly that: issuing an EO that exempts Russia from the new sanctions passed by Congress last month, a dangerous decision that puts our allies at risk.

Diesel prices are at an all-time high. Gas is through the roof. We’re burning billions of dollars on a reckless war that’s claiming American lives.
And @SpeakerJohnson is sending us home. Again. Because he cares more about his members campaigning to get reelected than solving the major issues facing our country.
