This is Nate Paul.
He was under FBI investigation for fraud. His real estate empire was collapsing after 18 properties filed for bankruptcy in a single year.
He wrote Ken Paxton a $25,000 check.
Then Paxton directed his AG’s office to hand Paul confidential investigative files.
They blocked foreclosure sales on his properties.
And they sided with Paul against the charity he was accused of defrauding.
Nate Paul even employed Paxton's mistress at Paxton’s recommendation.
Paxton's own senior staff reported his corruption to the FBI. They were fired.

Vouchers take money out of our underfunded public schools and give those tax dollars to wealthy parents who already have their kids in private school.
It is literally a transfer of wealth from the bottom and the middle to the people at the very top, all because of corruption in our political system.

On this Election Day Eve, I want to reiterate to those that sometimes listen to me that I am a Democrat because of family roots no doubt, but also because I want to live in a society that resembles the beloved community that Dr. King used to talk about, and help those that need help trying to survive on a 7.25 an hour min wage that Congress refused to increase, so that our children are fed, even if it means free lunches and SNAP that our taxes pay for, healthcare for those that need it so they do not have to fight disease in fear of not getting the treatments or medication needed, and to make sure our elderly life their final days in dignity. To make equality that means for all: men, women, regardless of color, greed, or religion. I say all this as a Christian, one that believes in Christ and how he taught by example. Stop making people different than you are the enemy.
