The Grizzlies were predicted nationally and locally to be amongst the worst teams in the league and nothing about what we’ve seen so far suggests that that’s where they will be Team has a clear and sustainable culture and direction and they are headed the right way The whole “I’ll believe it when they beat ______ “ thing is really just dumb, especially in year one of a rebuild Either they are the worst team, a bad team like predicted or they aren’t And they aren’t A fool can see that the foundation is in place for this team to have a great run the next few years with a roadmap of “what not to do’s” in hand from the previous era This iteration is mature, tough, skilled, and a diverse mix of youth and veteran leadership - blueprint to success I’m done dunking on dummies this season (until February of course lol) - especially local ones or ones who used to be fans or fans of this AND that or however they identity - because this will be a fun season and I don’t want to waste much energy on anything else! This past week of shit talk and trolling has been fun leading up to and wrapping up after beating Ja and Portland but issa wrap on all that.
