The Giants win was impressive for many reasons, obviously. It showed that Harbaugh perhaps pushed all the right buttons. It also came without 5 of their biggest team leaders/starters. Holland, Newsome, Edmunds, Burns, and Dart were all seen as alphas of their rooms all summer.

Arvell Reese on new Giants MLB Micah McFadden: “I thought Micah played great, bro. Micah was literally everywhere. I’d be running to the ball and I’d see Micah flying to the ball like, what?
“Micah played great, Micah flew around. Me and Micah communicated. That’s what we did all week, every presnap we were talking about seeing something. I tip my hat to Micah. It was his moment, he showed up and showed out.”

Unreal ending to Giants/Texans—Against the vaunted Houston defense, ball at the 28 in OT, New York wins it with a 42-yard run by Cam Skattebo, then a 30-yarder down Main Street from Devin Singletary.

Pretty telling quote from John Harbaugh:
“We're going to be in this thing until the end now. This was a pivotal game. This was a really high-pressure game for our team. We didn't talk about that, but they all knew how important this game was, and they responded accordingly.”
The Giants (4-2-1) are currently two games up in the NFC East with the Cowboys and Eagles facing each other on Monday night.

The feeling in the locker room postgame was a lot of relief that the bye is here. Lot of guys banged up and fighting through injuries.
Didn't seem like RB Tyrone Tracy's hamstring is anything serious. RB Cam Skattebo felt his hamstring on his long run in OT, but he avoided straining it. TE Isaiah Likely also said he was OK after hobbling through the second half at times.

Cam Skattebo said WR coach Chad Hall walked up to him before the drive he ran for a TD and said: “I think it’s time for a backflip.” #giants
“I knew that means it’s time to get in the end zone.”

CLASS ACT: #Giants quarterback Jameis Winston went crazy celebrating J.J. McCarthy after New York’s game-winning touchdown.
Despite being benched for McCarthy, Winston was still there supporting his teammate.
This is what a great teammate looks like❤️

Shoutout to Micah McFadden for stepping in and not only holding his own but absolutely CRUSHING it today.
Aside from that, Marv TD, he picked up 10 tackles and 2 tackles for a loss.
Elite run stopper.

Cam Skattebo said he wasn’t sliding on purpose on the play that set up Devin Singletary’s game-winning touchdown. Said he felt something in his hamstring and knew they were in FG range so he slid. “Good thing we have a bye week.”

Cam Skattebo on RBs: “Us three guys, man we came together as a team this week, as our own little team.” #giants
“If we can do that every week, we’re gonna be happy running backs and we’re going to continue to kick ass”

John Harbaugh says that he probably should have given Deonte Banks the game ball
"He was on it, man"

This Deonte Banks revival is one of the best coaching feats I’ve ever seen dude went from unplayable to borderline top 10 CB in one year

I think it's time to put a stamp on it
Good coaching can, does, and will make the difference to adversity (injuries).
Losers complain.

"That was a player's win in every way...
...as Abdul told the guys at halftime, no matter what empty the tank, no matter what come back in here with nothing left, and that's what they did"
John Harbaugh's opening statement after the Giants' win:

Great job by the Giants coaches. Reality is they had a team who dominated the game. Outgained Houston 420-237.
OC Matt Nagy is really doing a helluva job. The Giants have started three QBs in seven games and he's scheming guys open all over the field.

It’s crazy the difference John Harbaugh has made to every fiber of the #Giants organization.
They keep getting dealt body blows — injuries, adversity. Doesn’t matter.
Team is 4-2-1 and getting better.
