BREAKING: FBI agents and partner agencies carried boxes and bins out of a senior day care center in Flushing, Queens, on Tuesday and loaded them into waiting cars.
Agents from the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, IRS Criminal Investigation, the HHS Office of Inspector General and the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General were at the scene.
The FBI said federal agents and law enforcement partners were carrying out operations across Queens, Staten Island and Brooklyn, CBS News New York reported. Federal law enforcement sources told the station the operations are related to alleged health care fraud. The FBI did not name any targets, and no charges had been announced as of Tuesday afternoon.
