In @Gemini's Q2 earnings call, @cameron called prediction markets their “largest near-term growth opportunity".
Some numbers from their latest earnings:
- Volume +93% QoQ
- 225M+ contracts traded since launch
- 27K+ prediction traders
- 3x contracted market makers
- DCO now live + FCM application filed
The team is also in the process of getting perpetual futures live in the US, pending approvals (the product is already live in Singapore).
Prediction markets have quickly becoming a core piece of the Gemini super app.

One last crazy fact from the Coinbase S1 I will throw in there today.
Coinbase revenue is 96% transactional. That means that % of revenue/volume is relatively stable. So if you know volume, you can deduce revenue relatively easily.
