UPDATE: Fireblocks denied Axios' report that Visa is in late-stage talks to acquire the company for around $2.5 billion.
"This is news to us, and not true at present time," Fireblocks told The Block.
Visa said it does not comment on rumors or speculation.

THE BLOCK: Ireland's central bank fined Coinbase's Irish arm €3.25 million ($3.6 million) for breaches of customer fund safeguarding and outsourcing rules.
The regulator said inadequate controls left its designated safeguarding account underfunded for extended periods. The penalty remains subject to High Court approval.
