If Peyton Manning was for some reason so unsuccessful as a player that he becomes a CFB ref. As a Tennessee fan I’d be upset with him if he didn’t screw over Florida, Bama or Kentucky.
Thats why former players shouldn’t be refs in league.

This is disingenuous at best.
The complaint has been consistent that a former bama QB being an official is a problem.
If you cannot wrap your head around the possibility that a week after his former team lost to its rival, then he was calling the next game that he wouldn’t hold flags or throw extras then you have no business voting or posting on a public platform.
There is no grand SEC conspiracy and you know that, but you frame it this way because you realize most people will side with the reality of what happened that day.
Either this is rage bait.

BREAKING:🚨Since the announcement that referee David Smith would be on the call again for the Vols matchup this week vs the bye week, the spread has moved an unprecedented 37 points in favor of the bye week.

I was going to tell the bye that it going to have a really bad week, but then I saw that David Smith is the official this Saturday and now I’m not so confident.
Two things can be true:
1. Tennessee needs to fix stupid penalties.
2. The officiating from Bammer David Smith and his crew was not great, and I believe the NCAA needs to create a national organization for at least FBS football referees and stop leaving the officiating to the individual conferences.

We now have multiple non-Tennessee people calling out the officiating Saturday. David Smith should NEVER officiate another TN game @GregSankey. @AD_DannyWhite should have already called the SEC offices. @SECOfficiating is an embarrassment.
