The Yankees have signed Columbia RHP Payton Soske to a UDFA deal. The junior has battled injuries the past few years but features an electric sinker-slider combo. Sinker is regularly into the mid 90s, while the SL regularly eclipses 3,000 spin while maintaining upper 80s velo.
Welcome back, @PSoske24.
After two years of grinding through TJ rehab, the junior RHP returned from injury and was NASTY.

Congratulations to Payton Soske (@PSoske24) on signing with the New York Yankees.
Soske recorded 26 Ks in 19.1 IP with a 3.26 ERA.
He ran his fastball up to 96.4 this spring, with a nasty deathball-shaped slider that consistently topped our Stuff+ charts.
