You are so right. And of course, in order to get you for something, police/Social services will spend their time looking for more to heap on you, rather than examining the accuser/s in any way. Jay could possibly have reflected that the new allegations were being made because opportunists (false accusers and dishonest lawyers alike) were leaping at the idea of free and easy money. So many at injustice conferences describe how they were trying to tackle one aspect, when something even worse took over. The levels of fear some have experienced defeat everything. Often the accused is left virtually comatose and in a permanent state of terror, which of course makes conviction even easier.

Spouses have an obvious difficulty. It may be plain to them that police/Social services, indeed all concerned are behaving in a wholly unacceptable way and they feel constantly under attack. SS do not understand why anyone would stand by someone who is accused, as if the accusation itself is the basis of the truth they work on. There is not one moment's consideration that it might not be true, however obvious that is to the spouse. It is terrifying to the spouse that SS can simply order someone out of their own house, and many consider no one should have the right to do this. If they support a man who has been convicted because they know them to be innocent, they are viewed as "non protective" of their children. If they try to co operate they are deemed "artificially compliant". It is a lose/ lose situation. Heart attacks and cancers are too common. It astounds me that this situation goes unaddressed and think some people need to consider the legacy they leave behind. Simon Warr wrote so bravely. The trial of Rolf Harris was almost unbelievable in its absurdity, its cruelty and its indulgence of obvious lies. And of course, Simon Warr was right and the High court judges horribly wrong.

Since the 90s when police trawling for those who had been in care contaminated evidence and encouraged collusion, innocent men have gone to prison for sexual crimes which others know never took place. It has been three or more horrible decades for friends, colleagues, loved ones and children of the thousands wrongly criminalised. As the late Simon Warr put it in his writings for @FACTukorg "we are the wrong kind of victims". It is the silence which most people have found the most oppressive, as in other similar situations which have arisen. Hub and I most loved Simon Warr for his appropriate outrage, and sometimes outrage is the only appropriate emotion, and so entirely lacking in those who appear to have turned to stone. But I have to tell you there are many who will not come forward to you. These are people who have seen how the system operates and how routinely it results in innocent men being sent to prison for sexual abuse which never took place. They know that police never follow up anything which could even give a hint of exculpatory evidence, and they have seen the rabid madness of a feminist prosecutor who will paint a monster instead of the most often good man they are dealing with. They are not taking any chance of getting caught in that spiders' web again, because they have felt the full force of it once, with the spiders slowly devouring everything they once had, and no adequate resources available to help and assist them. Those brave and magnificent who stand for what is actually real and true it is quickly recognised have done this for so long that they are war weary and often cannot take another scalding themselves. I am very hampered by the need to have dialysis three times a week and it is not just that but how it can make you feel. I have recently had headaches where it felt literally as if my head was exploding and I felt beyond help. Thankfully fixed by increasing my blood pressure meds, but an illness which constantly seems to present a new problem. All I can say is that your fight back has been an inspiration for so many. I do not know how to be in touch with you and if you could give some indication that would be great. All I can say is that I support you all the way and that in 2013 our lives changed beyond recognition and I could no longer believe what I was seeing and hearing, most especially in the courts. I am so very, very fortunate that I have the bravest hub and the best daughter (I am sure all parents say the same!) and each of us in our own way has fought for our survival, because the common goal is to be reunited.
