36 years ago today, the Cincinnati Reds won the 1990 World Series.
The Reds swept the heavily favored Oakland Athletics 4-0.
The World Series MVP was Jose Rijo, who threw seven shutout innings in game one, and allowed one run in 8-1/3 innings in game four.
