All the demographic destiny stuff continues to be loser talk from the 2000s. In the Trump era we've had massive swings in voting behavior by education, age, race, religion, and then back again, we've had a Texas R+2, a Texas R+14, and a Texas D+11 election, it's all up for grabs.

Over 50 DSA victories tonight prove socialism can win in the U.S.
Workers deserve more and a reality where all of us live with dignity and hope is closer than we think.
The job's not done, though. Tomorrow, we continue organizing, fighting, and winning for the working class!

Yes, this was a wave election.
But every one of these races was a battle. Many were brutal.
We fielded strong candidates who fought with everything they had. Activists, volunteers, local leaders poured their hearts into these campaigns.
This wave didn’t just happen. We fought for it. We earned it.
What makes us feel "fight or flight" may be less adrenaline and more of something else—a hormone that seeps out of our bones.

When every second counts, New Yorkers are waiting longer for emergency medical care. 🚨
As medical emergencies increase, low pay and high turnover among @FDNY EMTs and paramedics are putting additional strain on NYC’s EMS system, contributing to longer response times. 🚑
Our latest report calls for competitive pay for these essential first responders and a comprehensive plan to reduce response times and ensure New Yorkers get the care they need, when they need it most. Read the full report: comptroller.nyc.gov/reports/…
