I have not written a word during quarantine. Just a reminder to worried artists - there are times for creating and times for becoming the person who will create the next thing. For many of us, this is a becoming time. Rest and become. Love you.

Thank you for this resource and @KurtzPsychology for your talk with Dr. Harvey this morning. Definitely feel like my mod-severe SM patients have hit a road block without my physical presence. Much appreciated!! #SMawareness #pedspsych

Are there any free therapeutic hotlines/services for family members of people with COVID-19 who are intubated (i.e., can't speak, can't have visitors)? MD partner treats COVID pts daily & says this is one of the biggest unmet needs for mental health support he sees.

Very grateful for the privilege of working in academia. Getting paid, being able to work flexibly, and helping younger people who are struggling are all opportunities that most people don't have now. Thankful too to be part of a community of scholars/teachers who r helping others

What an incredible resource for talking to kids about COVID. covid19healthliteracyproject…

A very special part of this project was the "#COVID19 for children" piece. We created kid-friendly fact sheets for 3-6 year olds, 6-12 year olds, and 13-18 year olds that explain what coronavirus is, how it affects them, and how they can protect themselves and their loved ones.

Yes! Feds: suspend state licensing laws to allow mental health professionals to work across state lines ASAP! The focus on our physical health today is warranted, but a disaster is looming if folks don't realize that #mentalhealth consequences surely will follow.... @JLSkillings

If you’re wondering whether it’s an overreaction to cancel large gatherings and public events (and I love basketball), here’s a useful primer as to why these measures can slow the spread of the virus and save lives. We have to look out for each other. vox.com/2020/3/10/21171481/c…

As we transition to less face-to-face contact in the coming days, let’s remember that we’re social animals and take 👇 this sage advice for connecting—especially in times of stress and self-quarantine.
