Thank God! I walked round Oxford Street trying to find a present for a colleague the other week & it was hands down the most stressful hour I’d experienced for *quite some time*

People—Democrats, Republicans, Independents—clamoring to support the Peltolas and Coopers is actually a validation of their candidate quality!
It’s good to have candidates people want to associate with and that should be a factor when assessing candidate quality!

Ridiculous.
For all the folks still pretending El-Sayed’s race is the same as Cooper’s or Peltola’s, do they have former Dem rivals refusing to fully endorse them on national TV?
‘Blue no matter who’ was a hypocritical centrist lie and this hypocrisy may hurt Dems in 2028.

I'm so excited to have been re-selected to stand for Parliament representing Harpenden, Berkhamsted, Tring, Redbourn, Wheathampstead, Flamstead, Markyate, Wheathampstead and our wonderful villages and communities. It's been the biggest privilege of my life to be the MP for this new constituency.
Since being elected, we've helped constituents with almost 25,000 personal and political issues, sent over 76,000 emails and letters to and on behalf of constituents, and I've participated in over 1,200 debates, questions, and speeches in the House of Commons. I've been nominated as one of the top 20 most active MPs in Parliament for two years and, most importantly, worked with fantastic people in the community, making a difference every day.
Thank you to all of you and what you do for our area. From national issues to local challenges, I will keep fighting together, and raising your issues week in, week out.

The British press hounding this doctor out of Britain for no sane reason, just because they can. And they’re still at it, from 10,000 miles away.

Obama: "That well-known evil empire Canada. That historical adversary of ours. Canada! *laughs* It's your neighbor. It's a few minutes' drive over the bridge! These are the people who gave us Martin Short and maple syrup. They are the nicest people! And someone we've gotten them so mad."

I do challenge the advice about stockpiling Sauvignon blanc.
Surely better to stockpile a red - because if the power goes down, the white would be room temperature, which would be simply ghastly.

Idk how people are disagreeing when there’s literally a montage of her being heartbroken whenever a democrat won the presidential election.. it’s very in character for her
How MAGA Has Sue Sylvester Become in the #Glee Reboot?
Jane Lynch said it herself: Sue Sylvester “would be MAGA” should “Glee” ever return. After all, the hugely problematic, tracksuit-loving cheerleading coach ended the show in the White House as the Republican Vice President of the US with plans to run for the top job. If Lynch is returning to her Emmy-winning role, then fans can probably expect MAGA Sue confronting 2026 “woke” culture to be a defining subplot.

I know it seems unimportant but I don’t like how easy it is for some journalists to completely and deliberately mischaracterise things.
Thunderous rebuke? As he laughs… and later says a drink or two could help. Why are they so often like this?
A thunderous rebuke from Andy Burnham over Angela Rayner's suggestion that she would include a bottle of sauvignon blanc in her survival kit
Asked if wine would also be part of his emergency box, Burnham suggests it should not be a priority
“I’m not sure that that’s the top of the list in terms of the advice that we’re giving to the to the public.
“You need to have a clear head when it comes to a challenging situation.
“So yeah, some tins of food, some bottled water. But I’m sure people are allowed a glass or two as well to get them through a difficult situation,” he added.
