Native American voters often face significant barriers to accessing the right to vote. We are working to change that.
For the first time ever, Tribal members can now register to vote at an Indian Health Service facility, Native Health of Phoenix.

Academics - how many of your best ideas are in presentations that only 20 people saw or papers that only 10 people read? Suspect there’s. Massive wealth of untapped ideas out there!

So many tests of healthcare’s commitment to careful and kind care for all …so many fails.. This is #WhyWeRevolt @patientrev
Can we talk about all the things wrong with this? Paying for parking at clinics & hospitals is another reason #healthcare in Canada is not universal. You do need to pay for physical access. Also…1/4

In the midst of a peer review crisis, I'm feeling really grateful for generous reviewers today. As an early career scholar, I can't tell you how meaningful it is to have deep, kind, and supportive recommendations. Thank you for reading my work and for caring to make it better.

7 years ago, a medical society told me their conference was not intended for a patient audience. Last fall I was an invited presenter.
This is proof that medical culture can change & it works best when patients, care partners, clinicians, and researchers are working together.🤘

Hi! Next Friday 14 April, I will defend my dissertation. It will be in Zoom. The public presentation will be around 30-40 minutes. Then, the rest of the event will be exclusive to the committee.

I'll also add that even with a supportive healthcare provider who provides input and ultimately lets the patient (person) choose...it's still stressful!
Plus eye symptoms are no fun and are stressful and annoying on their own to deal with.

Not sure where I'm going with this thread today except to note that it can be stressful to have a condition in which some stuff is known but a lot still is not known and even people with as much data as possible can find it stressful to juggle these choices.
