• Highest-ever October freight loading of 145.07 million tonnes, registering 8.32% growth over October 2025.
• April–October loading reaches 978.78 million tonnes, up 4.67%.
• Foodgrains loading surges by 26.3%, while domestic coal grows by 16%.

As if there was shortage of festivals in India that people have started celebrating halloween. I dont like halloween because it requires people taking too much effort to look ugly 😅.
This is how Diwali use to be during prepration time in Old Rajender Nagar. Mains use to be after Diwali hence can't go home. So it use to be normal day as any day. Buy Rasgolla and eat :) Nothing nostalgic about those days missing many important events of life.
Often -Poverty is not the reson behind ticketless travel,its lack of civility to obey rules. In ticket checking drives have often came across people travelling without ticket are ones who can afford it. Old video of lady buying tickets for her goats is pure joy.

Back to reading after many years. All my earlier postings were too hectic. In operations,day started around 6:30 in the morning & ending at late night where reading was a luxury. Finally sometime to do something different.
Loud music played at night disturbing sleep.Much needed step in inculcating civic sense & making life of passengers better. Fine upto Rs 1,000 and or 6 months imprisonment for playing music in speaker while travelling & disturbing fellow passenger.
