Today, on Police and Peace Officers' National Memorial Day, the Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers joins communities across Canada in remembering the men and women who lost their lives in service to others.
Here in Regina, this yearsโ service includes the unveiling of the new Saskatchewan Protective Services Memorial. As members of the SFPO, we stand with our fellow responders to honor the 66 police, fire, paramedic, conservation, and corrections members recognized on this monument.
Serving our community is a privilege and today reminds us of the incredible people who have served across the country.
To the families and loved ones: we honor their memory, and we will never forget them. ๐

This past week, the Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers (SFPO) Executive Team met in Regina for two days of planning and strategy. The meetings focused on the issues that impact the SFPO membership most, with a lot of great discussion on how to best support and advocate for members moving forward.
The executive team also sat down with several Members of Parliamentโincluding Arpan Khanna, MP, Larry Brock, MP, and Warren Steinley, MP. This was a good opportunity to discuss real challenges on the ground and make sure the concerns of Saskatchewan officers are heard at the federal level.
It was a productive couple of days focused on the organization's key priorities.
