Vance is literally the only national politician who has called Trump Hitler.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

A tale of two movies:
Similar deal structures. Similar budgets.
One made $45M from 3300 screens, post pandemic, and won the weekend.
The other made $41M from 3600 screens pre-pandemic, and placed second.
And yet this is the coverage.

Hey, Matt, I hear you like ‘em young.
The halftime show you just watched is clearly the regime’s response to Trump’s historic gains with black men.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Kendrick Lamar was announced as the halftime show several months before Trump won

The folks behind @watchdutyapp better never pay for another drink in the Los Angeles area as long as they live.

- No, the fire department budget wasn’t slashed, they were in the process of negotiations.
- Yes, the water tanks were full but bc it was too windy for airdrops there was more pressure in the hydrant system

What I've learned today, over the past two days, is in many more people than I thought -- there's a vacuum where empathy would be.
A lot of people simply don't have the parts to access. They're not there. They can't be reached. There's nothing inside them to reach.

Struggling to find the words for just how disturbing this is.
But suffice it to say that at one point, even Baldoni’s own publicist essentially says “thank goodness people hate women.”
Blake Lively has filed a legal complaint laying out an alleged campaign to tarnish her reputation after she accused Justin Baldoni of misconduct on the set of “It Ends With Us.” A New York Times investigation shows how the fallout unfolded. nyti.ms/3DoqZSq

These are the lines with the military that Trump tried to cross last time. General Milley and others served as a guardrail for our military and democracy and stopped him.
Now, there will be no guardrails. And the negative impact of this on our democracy, our military and our national security will be unprecedented.
The closest parallel might be the use of US troops to put Japanese-American citizens in internment camps during WW2. To this day, one of the darkest spots in American history. History that Trump wants to repeat. #OurEnemiesAreCelebrating
