Clarifying. Aang’s pain and grief is understandable and I’m glad to see it explored. PTSD is a delicate concept and Avatar has handled it very well so far. While respecting that, I also see Katara’s pain. Aang’s isolation is hurting her. Calling that out isn’t hating on Aang.

If you understand his PTSD and grief then you wouldn’t say she is stuck in a relationship where she is emotionally neglected. You would talk about how her abandonment issues may have been heightened due to this singular rough patch in their relationship of 12 years
