Almost like he has been shoed into the job for a reason eh? HS2 acting in an underhand manner? I wonder how much he has invested or how many shares he was given whilst employed by HS2?

@LBC @mrjamesob having taken precautions over the last 18 months for Covid whilst remaining unjabbed I caught it recently. Horrendous. However I will now have antibodies which render me better protected than this that are vaccinated. Why should I miss out now James?!

This #HS2 embankment, which dwarfs our homes, obliterating our view of Misbourne Valley, is supposedly temporary. Why ⁦@HS2ltd⁩ have trees now been planted on top of it? ⁦@SarahGreenLD⁩ ⁦@CarolyneCulver⁩ ⁦@MATatBucks⁩ ⁦@CllrCarlJackson⁩ ⁦⁦

Shock #victory for #LibDems in #CheshamAndAmersham #Byelection...This is what happens when #Boris & the Gov'nt rides rough shod over the electorate's wishes; going ahead with the #HS2 White Elephant vanity project & giving the green light to over devlt... totally unnecessary @FT

Please save the trees and oppose #HS2. We can't afford this terrible nature loss.

Just heard tell of an incident opposite HS2 Wendover where their workers were attempting to call activists dogs across the busy A413 London Road. Bastards.

@NaturalEngland Why are the ancient woodlands not safe under your charge? So much devestation allowed for HS2’s ill conceived scheme. Why would you let down the future generations like this? #ScrewHS2

Jones Hill is an absolute jewel in the Chiltern landscape, with finds pointing to Stone Age habitation through to being an inspiration to Roald Dahl. This should be handed on intact. Shame on you @NaturalEngland.

Stop HS2- Whatever may have been just about affordable a year ago is no longer so. Is it reasonable to ask all 31.4mn taxpayers to stump up at least £3.4k each for a railway line most of them will never use & many of them won’t even live to see completed? thearticle.com/there-is-only…
