With over 30 years in the UK security & FM sector, I leverage that knowledge and experience to solve problems and achieve tangible results.
If I could highlight just 5 things that have underlined my career success it would look like this:
🏆 Award-winning security professional. (Security Institute's George Van Schalkwyk Award for outstanding contribution to the UK security industry - IFSEC Global ranking of 2nd most influential global security professional for "Thought Leadership" in 2019 and finalist in both OSPAs and Security Excellence Awards.)
👥 Led teams of 300+ security professionals, across key National contracts. (One Government contract expanding from 3 to 18 sites, during my management.)
⭐ Significantly improved ACS / compliance scores for 4 UK security companies. (Not just writing appropriate policies and procedures, but ensuring that front line staff are informed, supported, respected and empowered to develop and achieve their goals.)
🚨 Delivered major operational improvements, leading to increased staff retention and massively improved contract retention. (Instigated training programs, massively improved client engagement, established professional development plans, mentored potential leaders.)
🍾 Completed complex bid submissions and given successful, contract winning, presentations.
Done right, client's become aware that Security is a vital business enabler, not a drain on the bottom line, and I get a buzz from seeing that change of thinking. If you're looking for someone who brings strategic thinking, operational credibility, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for developing people, I'd love to speak to you...
I'd also be extremely grateful if my network could like, comment or share this post to help it reach the right people.
Thank you for your support.🙏

So, why are lefty journalists and commentators angry at Reform UK for reporting ITV to the police ?
If they’ve done nothing wrong, they’ll be cleared right?
There’s some SERIOUS allegations , why wouldn’t you not want them investigated?…

These scumbag journalists who sell their soul for a story. Lying to a veteran about service is pure filth. 🤬
A Royal Marine who served in Afghanistan and Iraq sat down for a drink with a man he believed had served beside him. He spoke about the front line. He shared memories most people never hear.
According to Reform UK's Zia Yusuf, the man across the table was an undercover television reporter who had falsely claimed to share his military background, with a hidden camera running.
"They lied to a veteran about their service and left him violated," Yusuf said.
Great British PAC believes the service and sacrifice of Britain's Armed Forces must never be used as a convenient disguise for a story. If established, this is stolen valour: a disgraceful exploitation of a veteran's trust.
ITV must now explain whether the claim was made, who authorised it and why any broadcaster thought it justified.
Our veterans stood on the line for this country. Their trust is not a prop.

Shabana Mahmood is keen to promote crime statistics that paint a positive picture of Britain.
But she conveniently fails to mention rape.
74,727 rapes recorded in England and Wales in the year ending March 2026. Up 4.3%.
That's more than 200 recorded rape offences every single day.
An appalling statistic that deserves far more attention.
Meanwhile, victims of Britain's historical rape gangs are still waiting for justice.
Britain needs a serious plan to tackle rape, pursue offenders and protect victims.
You cannot celebrate falling crime while ignoring statistics like these.
Some chatter on social media would have you believe that crime is out of control.
The facts tell a different story.
As @frasernelson has shown in his Substack today:
Violence is at its lowest level since the crime survey began in 1981.
Robbery is at a record low.
Crime, excluding fraud, is 78% down on its peak in 1995.
And the stats show this Government is delivering on its promises too:
Knife crime is down 11%.
Knife murders are at their lowest level in 35 years.
Thefts including phone snatching have fallen by 20% in the last year alone.
But I know there is more that we must do, and we will:
We’ve put more than 3,800 extra neighbourhood officers into roles, with named, contactable officers for every neighbourhood.
We’re introducing the most significant reforms to policing in a generation.
We are tackling rising rates of violence against women and girls through our landmark strategy.
And we are tackling crimes like fraud, more prevalent in our increasingly online world, with £250 million directed to this challenge in our Fraud Strategy published this year.

Absolutely appalling
🚨 A 15-year-old boy was woken by four West Midlands Police officers banging on his door.
Fraser, a schoolboy and Reform UK activist, was arrested in front of his neighbours, bundled into a police car and held overnight in a cell. His mugshot and DNA were taken; even his shoes were confiscated. While he was in the cell, officers searched his bedroom at home.
His “crime”? Criticising a Conservative councillor for wearing shorts and a T-shirt to a council meeting, then joking on social media that the councillor “was not looking like a rent boy” when he wore a suit.
Fraser also posted an altered photograph of the councillor wearing bunny ears.
In what self-respecting democracy should a child be arrested for criticising an elected politician?
The Free Speech Union is supporting Fraser and has taken on his case. His lawyers received an email from West Midlands Police stating that “it is alleged that your client’s comments could be considered a hate crime offence”. Months later, Fraser is still waiting to learn whether he will be charged.
Speaking to the New York Post, FSU Director of Legislative Affairs Sam Armstrong said: “Broadly speaking, several thousand people a year are being arrested for… ‘offensive speech’ in the UK.”
Since 2020, the FSU has handled more than 7,000 cases involving people whose free speech has been infringed and who have been punished for exercising it. More than 60,000 people have also been arrested for communications offences in the UK.
The First Amendment protects US citizens’ right to free speech. As Sam told the New York Post, it is the “global gold standard”.

How the hell is this legal? Who’s actually testing them? Sounds like a scam and a joke at the same time.
Immigrants are getting licences without proper tests while the rest of us wait months and they can’t even speak English.

This train worker is wearing a Palestine badge and he gets questioned quite rightly for it by a Jewish passenger at Farringdon Station in London.
During the confrontation, he denied Hamas’s responsibility for October 7th and claimed Israel killed its own civilians.
He then threatened to have the Jewish passenger forcefully removed from the station.

There’s already a mixed pond ( where you ID however you like) & a men’s pond. There is zero reason for males to be in the women’s pond or women’s changing rooms. Good luck @SexMattersOrg
Sex Matters is heading to the High Court on 3rd and 4th November.
We’re challenging the City of London Corporation’s decision to allow men who identify as women to use the Ladies’ Pond, including its changing rooms and showers.
The City has a lawful option: keep the Ladies’ Pond for women, the Men’s Pond for men and the Mixed Pond for both sexes. We’re asking the court to hold it to the law.

Absolutely fucking disgusting. As a veteran, this boils my piss. Lying about sharing service to get a Royal Marine who actually did the tours in Afghanistan and Iraq to open up about the darkest stuff he’s been through, then filming him on the sly for a TV hit job? That’s not undercover journalism it’s stolen valour and a complete betrayal of trust. 🤬
These scumbag “reporters” and ITV treating real veterans’ trauma as props to damage Reform is pure filth. They should be sacked and the lot of them should be ashamed. Respect the fallen and the living. 🤬🇬🇧
🇬🇧 STOLEN VALOUR FOR A TELEVISION EXCLUSIVE? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.
A Royal Marine who served in Afghanistan and Iraq reportedly opened up about deeply personal experiences to an ITV undercover reporter who falsely claimed to share his military background.
He believed he was talking to a fellow veteran. Someone who understood the horrors of war.
Instead, according to Reform UK’s Zia Yusuf, he was secretly being filmed.
THIS IS A DISGRACE.
There are ethical boundaries in undercover journalism. And if these allegations are confirmed, impersonating a veteran to exploit the trust of someone who served his country crosses a deeply disturbing line.
Call it undercover journalism. Call it investigative reporting. I call it a betrayal of trust.
The journalist responsible should face serious professional consequences, including dismissal if misconduct is established.
And ITV should have to explain exactly why such deception was considered necessary.
Our veterans’ sacrifices and wartime memories are not props for a television documentary.
RESPECT YOUR FALLEN. RESPECT YOUR VETERANS.
