Deranged woke fundamentalists disrupt @jtworr’s lecture at Cambridge. They’re trying to drive the last bit of viewpoint diversity out of Cambridge. University needs to discipline these students immediately and make it clear that what Adorno termed ‘left-wing fascism’ won’t be tolerated. As with the harassment of Kathleen Stock, this is vital in order to protect Orr’s academic freedom. If it fails to do so, Cambridge must be investigated by the @Oh_FFS_tweets. cc: @ComAcFreedom.
James Orr, the former Head of Policy for Reform UK, Chair of the Roger Scruton Foundation and Associate Professor of Philosophy of Religion @CamDivinity was confronted in his classroom whilst teaching yesterday. (He is not suspended by @Cambridge_Uni as some were led to believe.)

What was Vincent actually like? More than 60 years after meeting him, the girl in the portrait, Adeline Ravoux, could still remember him clearly. She recalled a man who spoke little, walked with his head slightly tilted and always seemed to have a half-smile on his lips. This is how she described him: ‘So simple and kind […] he had a great deal of charm.’ And when she sat for him? Vincent barely spoke. He was completely absorbed in his painting, endlessly puffing on his pipe until he disappeared into what Adeline remembered as ‘a veritable cloud of smoke’. 🖼️ ‘Adeline Ravoux’, 1890 ©️ The Cleveland Museum of Art

Israel says it’s a democracy where Palestinians vote. Of the 7 million Palestinians under Israeli rule, about 1.2 million can vote for the government that rules them. The rest sit on a ladder of rights. East Jerusalem can vote for mayor, not the Knesset. The West Bank last voted for a parliament in 2006. Gaza and the refugees can’t vote at all. Even the citizens at the top get no real power. When they turned out in record numbers this October, they were accused of stealing the election. This is how Israel divides the Palestinians and calls it democracy. It is a democracy only for Jews.

I have NEVER understood why US voting is such a clusterfuck. In the UK, every primary school, or libaray, or "something", becomes a voting place, and no one ever waits more than a few minutes to vote. For the democratic land of the free, they are in the dark ages for their actual voting....
This is a line to vote in Mississippi. I was just on the Ole Miss campus today and a bunch of Republicans told me they’re voting blue this year. They’re fed up. Something to watch!

It really seems as if Labour is trying to break the Church. Hot on the heels of charging a punitive extra 20% for all repairs to listed places of worship now they’re going to hit parishes with backbreaking extra taxes on vicarages telegraph.co.uk/gift/47fa8c2…

France is showing the world what real accountability looks like. Paris prosecutors have launched a major criminal investigation into Elon Musk’s X, raided its Paris offices and summoned Musk and former CEO Linda Yaccarino for questioning. The allegations are staggering, political manipulation through algorithms, child sexual abuse material, sexually explicit deepfakes generated by Grok without consent, Holocaust denial, unlawful data extraction and election interference. While Musk parades around pretending to be a defender of free speech, his platform faces allegations involving the exploitation of children, the sexual abuse of women through AI-generated imagery, the manipulation of political discourse and threats to democratic elections. Bravo, France! This is what standing up to billionaire arrogance looks like. Democracy is not a billionaire's personal playground, social media platforms are not above the law, and Elon Musk does not get to buy himself immunity from accountability. France is making it clear that the rule of law still matters, and the rest of the democratic world should be paying attention.

🚨 This Israeli Rabbi just admitted something insane: “For Israel to have nuclear weapons, we had to sell stolen black babies to families in the US, where they did medical experiments on them. Now Israel has enough nuclear power to wipe out the entire world in a minute.” This is the Yemenite Children Affair (1950s) : Thousands of babies from poor Yemeni Jewish families “disappeared” right after birth in Israeli transit camps and hospitals. Parents were told their newborns had “suddenly died.” Many were reportedly kidnapped and either: 1. Sold for adoption to childless Ashkenazi families (in Israel and abroad), or 2. Used in medical experiments. Over 1,000 cases are officially documented. Some estimates go up to 4,500. In 2016, Netanyahu publicly acknowledged the state took “hundreds” of children without consent. The video below is the Rabbi himself bragging about it. This is one of the darkest and least-talked-about chapters of early Israeli history. How is this not discussed everywhere? – at Washington, DC

NHS BRIBED THE WRONG DOCTOR Dr Kim Holt (@drkimholt) was the designated doctor for children in care at St Ann's Hospital in Haringey. In 2007, she and three colleagues sent a formal written warning to Great Ormond Street Hospital (@GreatOrmondSt) management. Staff shortages. Poor record-keeping. A disaster waiting to happen. The response was not to fix the clinic. It was to remove Dr Holt from her post and place her on four years of special leave. When she refused to go quietly, the hospital offered her £80,000 with a gagging order attached. She turned it down. After Baby P died, the offer went up to £120,000. She turned that down too. Six months after her warnings were ignored, a locum with no experience of the clinic examined Baby Peter Connelly. The signs of abuse were there. They were missed. Two days later, the child was dead. The NHS Trust that ran the clinic eventually apologised. In writing. Four years later. Dr Holt went back to work. She framed the apology letter and hung it on her wall. She then founded Patients First to support the next generation of @NHS whistleblowers, because she knew there would be one. There always is. Sources: @guardian @BBCNews @thetimes @drkimholt

Yvette Cooper I would like your personal response statement to this case. Account for the NHS action here…. A person tries to highlight failings and the NHS spend £11 million to try destroy him. How many hip replacements or essential operations could we have provided for this money wasted…. Which Trust chief exec are you going to sack for this incompetence? @YvetteCooperMP @DHSCgovuk @KemiBadenoch @andyburnham
NHS SPENT 11 MILLION POUNDS TRYING TO PROVE ONE CARDIOLOGIST WAS WRONG Dr Raj Mattu flagged 5 patients crammed into 4 bed cardiac bays at Walsgrave Hospital in 2001. A 35 year old died because staff could not reach him in time. He told @BBC. The trust suspended him, reportedly hired private investigators, and sent over 200 complaints about him to @gmcuk. All 200 were rejected. At the 2016 remedy hearing the trust's barrister called him greedy for wanting the compensation he was already owed, then suggested he retrain as a school teacher on 30,000 pounds a year. He won. Around 1.22 million pounds, up to 2.5 million once tax was added. The legal fight cost the trust over 11 million in public money. Patients died. He spoke up. The system spent a decade trying to prove him wrong instead of fixing the ward. Sources: @BBC @Telegraph @itvnews @guardian

Trump hasn’t been to church literally one time since Inauguration Day, but he’s played golf at least 55 Sundays. Trump worships himself and $; not Jesus Same goes for the American evangelicals who turn a blind eye to his crime and corruption and blasphemy
