I’m in Bologna Italy. Maybe you’ve seen on social media all of the insanity, but I just rode my bike around half the city from 8pm to past midnight and I came across only one area of protest. I couldn’t get that close to it because the cops were blocking me, but I was able to ride my bike around and get where I needed to go tonight. I rode my bike to my friend’s house for dinner and I went shopping. Everything was normal otherwise. Essentially life happens as normal around the protests.

The trend of some Nigerians de-marketing their country and mocking their passports is the ultimate form of self-hatred and indignity.
