after thinking about it carefully, i’ve decided to postpone our relaunch to tuesday, january 5, 2027.
here’s why.
the memecoin market is in terrible shape right now. liquidity is low, most launches struggle, and launching a serious project requires a significant budget.
right now, i have $3,000 available for the launch. by january 5, that budget will increase to $8,000.
that’s more than double the resources to give $BADDUCKNRG the launch it deserves.
i could rush the launch in november, spend everything and hope for the best.
but that’s not what i’m trying to build.
i’ve been in this space for 2 years, and one thing i’ve learned is that timing and preparation matter just as much as hype.
$BADDUCKNRG isn’t meant to be another coin that launches, pumps for 20 minutes and disappears.
i want to build something serious, with a real community and a long-term vision.
the extra budget will allow us to invest more in marketing, visibility, community rewards and launch preparations.
i’d rather delay the launch by 2 months than waste our opportunity by rushing it.

🦆 After 2 years in the memecoin space, here’s what i’ve learned.
I don’t trust KOLs anymore.
and the past month has been an absolute disaster. it feels like every KOL is just trying to extract as much SOL as possible from their followers.
the playbook is always the same:
buy early with secondary wallets, then use their main wallets and influence to bring in buyers.
you can keep following them if you want, but personally, i’d stay far away from KOL-driven coins and focus on genuine community-driven projects.
if you’re new to crypto, here’s my advice:
never trust someone just because they have 100k followers on X or a huge following on pumpfun.
never buy a coin just because a famous account shilled it.
research the project, check the wallets, look at the community and think for yourself.
followers don’t equal credibility.
and remember, if you’re blindly following someone else’s trades, you might just be their exit liquidity.
