In times, when Lawrence Bishnoi becomes 'Sahab' for some, a struggle was going on in JNU,led by JNUSU members and students. After 17 days of indefinite hunger strike, they have emerged victorious. Comrades Gopika and Abhinaya fought till victory, they have been hospitalized now.
Today marks the 16th day of Hunger strike started by students and student union members of JNU. Gopika, VP of JNUSU, experienced vomiting, dizziness, and is unable to walk. Abhinaya has also started experiencing dizziness.Yet,the autocratic admin has refused to hold dialogues.

Rise in Rage.
Today, IIT students who have been peacefully protesting against the institutional murder of Sahil Wakode were brutally detained by Mumbai Police twice from inside their campus. The protesting students have been sitting on a hunger strike and were on a sit in for the past 30 days. The students have been demanding systemic change and accountability. However, the administration allowed for Mumbai police to come in and assault and detain the students. Students were choked, hit and scratched, and most of them have been injured.
Who allowed the police to enter a university campus and detain students? The IIT administration has shown its true colours yet again and has shown that they don't care about student voices and students' lives. The brutality unleashed on students will not be forgotten.
In solidarity with the protesting students of IIT Bombay.
