So here's the thing. I don't give a flying fuck about "woke" or not woke. That's just an easy target. Woke isn't the issue here. Baldur's Gate 3 was "woke" and made all the money and sales. The issue is that, regardless of whatever sort of bullshit grandstanding you want to make about it, gave development is a luxury industry that exists at the pleasure of the audience willing to pay for it. If you are going to work for a big corporation making games, the sole expectation of those games is that they make money. If you want to be an artiste, or a propagandist, or whatever, that happens on your own dime in your own time, and that's fine. Great things have come from small developers who just wanted to make the game they wanted to play. But if you want to work it like it's a job, you make the product the customer wants to buy. And there was no confusion in what the customer wanted. We told you, repeatedly, loudly and clearly. We told you with words. We told you with actions. We told you by not buying the products we told you we didn't want. Some go so far to say is that Trump was elected the first time around to prove the fucking point about what gamers wanted. But no one listened. Baldur's Gate 3 was full of woke, but it sold like bread before a hurricane. Why? Because they gave gamers what they wanted. They delivered a top notch experience that didn't throw any shit in your face you didn't want to see. There was plenty there for the woke to enjoy, but more importantly, it was completely ignorable. The game stood on it's own merits, and didn't turn into a lecture, which is what everyone had been asking for the entire time, and so it sold all the copies, and apparently no one learned a goddamn thing from it. I see loads of morons on here today, talking about how XYZ Bioware game was woke and if we had cared then we would have called it wo.... shut the fuck up, please. We didn't complain then because it wasn't the same thing then. You know it. I know it, and you're making yourself look like a retard by saying it. Neither Jade Empire, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, BG 1&2, DA:O nor Mass Effect contained a scene suggesting you do pushups for misgendering someone or had a mandatory "coming out to their parents scene" where the party must support the most retarded member of what was previously portrayed as a proud warrior race telling their parents they are "non binary". Nothing like that happened before, that's the shit people are talking about. And for the record, it would be just as fucking retarded if a conservative company made a Qunari character come out to their family as Christian. The gaming audience learns very far into the "chud" spectrum, learn to make what they want or keep going broke. What these studios once made will be mourned and cherished, you wont.

You don’t need to come up with that many different meals a month, this is actually psychotic. This is exactly the sort of metric women invent and then screech about woe is me mommy martyr things like this. You don’t have to live like this. How do you not know that?
Please come up with 365 meals, not using the same one more than once a month with pork, beef, and chicken. Also take into account how many people youre feeding and their different diets and preferences.

Absolutely incredible newsism here. The 26-year-old Moroccan rapist is somehow younger than his 22-year-old victim.

If your anti-ai hating opponent has blue hair and daddy issues, pops SSRIs like they're candy and spends all of their time drawing animal porn, they probably aren't worth taking serious.

Don’t train people to be nice to you if you want honesty. If you show a game to a friend, they give it a 3 out of 10, and you are upset by their feedback instead of thrilled then that is the last time they will be honest with you.
Rule for solo devs: If you haven't playtested it with a stranger, you haven't tested it. Your friends are too nice. Your own brain already knows the answers. Agree?

Current deaths in conflicts around the world. That one at the bottom is the "genocide" the whole world must stop by ruining Ed Sheeran tours and abusing Jewish kids in Golders Green.

Koreans don't use their Koreatowns as staging sites for terrorist attacks.
Koreans will establish koreatowns all over the world but they can’t handle a few mosques being built in their own country

This message hits different when you remember we're still only eight months out from a trans-identified male murdering children at a BC school using a gun decorated with trans flags.

Thank god we can find and intercept lost hikers as they mistakenly run away from rescue in dense forest!
Purdue University's IDEAS Lab built an autonomous drone that tracks runners through dense forests completely without GPS or cloud networks. By running 3D LiDAR mapping and obstacle-avoidance AI entirely on-chip, it can weave under tree canopies and predict target movement through blind spots in real time. Massive implications for next-gen search & rescue and edge AI.

It’s hard to put into words how monumentally David Eby miscalculated in BC. Calling a snap election only to lose in a landslide to a party that hadn’t formed a majority since before the invention of the jet engine…they’ll write books about that level of duncery.

Funny how proportional representation is suddenly an urgent crisis for the BC left… the second the NDP loses. The system is broken the moment it stops working for them. #bcpoli

Wonderful job, Mr. Carney. Truly impressive. By the first quarter of 2026, real GDP growth since Q1 2025 looked like this: USA: +2.7% Australia: +2.5% OECD average: +1.7% Canada: −0.1% Dead last among the economies shown. We were promised economic competence, investment, productivity and prosperity. Instead, Canada spent a year falling further behind its peers. Yes, American tariffs are a problem. But Canada’s weak productivity, regulatory burden and investment climate didn’t begin with Trump. Carney was sold as the man who could fix Canada’s economy. Canadians have every right to judge him by the results rather than the speeches. Turns out, managing an economy is considerably harder than talking about one. 🤡🌎

More people need to see this. I see a lot of retards out there trying to call out Leaflit like she's some random nobody or just another VTuber. She's actually an experienced game developer and businesswoman with extensive connections across multiple creative industries.
Did you know Leaflit was responsible for Lux from League of Legends? more details in the video! Feat. @Leaflit and @SimoneHCollins
