As I transition back to music/ writing full-time, here's how those most impacted by my ministry can partner w/ me bit.ly/2stAkyq
Happy New Year everybody! Hope to see y’all on IG in 2024.

At the Savior’s birth, the night time sky became like the afternoon. At the Savior’s death, the noon day sky went pitch black. Praise God for the Light of the world who delivers us from darkness!
I take my sweet time recording stuff that rhymes, which focus on a Person that most people hate, while also writing & speaking about stuff this Person taught that may or may not rhyme that some appreciate, but makes others who say they love this Person mad at me.

Thanks for listening! I know I make a living using words, but I can’t begin to articulate how much your support has meant to me and my family over the years!
Replying to @ShaiLinne
@ShaiLinne what is better than being apart of the 7,000? How about the Top 100?…. maybe…

“Not to us but to Your Name be the Glory, to Your Name be the Glory, to Your Name be the Glory!” Oh, how I love that song pressing into my mind and heart, over and over again until it oozes out everything I do! Thank you, Shai Linne @ShaiLinne

Friends, the fruit of the Spirit is love joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
If the people you follow on Twitter don't model these things, don't listen to them.
My (friendly) @UWePray takeover continues with an honest convo about the challenge of pursuing ethnic diversity in our churches.
New episode!
@ShaiLinne is back with us for a conversation about ethnic diversity. Diversity is hard. Many of us can love the idea of an ethnically diverse church, for example, but be disappointed when the reality is much more difficult than we expected. We talk through reasons it can be so hard and share personal experiences that illustrate the point.

Don’t be fooled. Bible knowledge/insights, seminary education or ministry accomplishments do not necessarily equate to Christian maturity. These can mask for awhile but the proof will be in how one responds/interacts w/ideas, ppl, & situations esp. when adversity is involved.

New episode!
@ShaiLinne is back for the second episode in this series. We are talking books! Both Shai and Austin are avid readers, so they go back and forth with book recommendations across multiple categories.
Discussed are books to shape our minds, books we think every Christian should read, books on history, and what we think are the best books on race. Then, after all the books we think may be helpful, we talk about the one book we know will always be helpful – the Bible. We hope you are encouraged to take up and read!

My dear friends and co-laborers at @UWePray done messed up and put a mic in front of me. I’m co-hosting the pod for the next 6 weeks. If you wanna hear my (hopefully biblical) thoughts on all kinds of stuff related to Christian unity, check it out!
New episode!
Grace and peace, friends. Isaac is out on paternity leave, so for the next six weeks, we will be joined by guest co-host @ShaiLinne. Shai is an author, musician, theologian, and friend.
In this episode, we talk about how complicated multi-ethnic corporate worship can be. As always, Shai is careful to define our terms and keep us focused on the most important things. He offers encouragement to those who feel like outsiders and exhortations for us to keep love of our brothers and sisters as our main focus. We hope you enjoy this series with Shai!

This right here is what has been missing in convos about justice in the church! Trained practitioners who also know the Bible & love Jesus. I’ll take a Christian legal expert with tears in his eyes as he shares the gospel over a smug pastor or snarky online personality any day.
Here is my sit-down with my friend Sean DeMars @RoomForNuance_ about my book. In a world of sound bites, we tried to have a long-form and nuanced discussion about important issues of criminal justice. Hope you enjoy.

FYI, I’ve been on this platform since 09. Simply put, I hate what it’s become in recent years. I have a lot of content incoming. If you want to keep up with what I’m doing musically, IG is the best way to do so. My IG handle is the same as here.
It’s about that time! New single and video dropping next Friday (11/11). The song is called “Elder Statesman”, produced by @BryanBraille w/ visuals by @shotbyesso . LT3 release date info coming soon.
Wow, they’re offering this for free?!?! Click the link, download and read it. And you’ll be amazed just like I am that something so well crafted and Christ-exalting is just being given away like this!

I love everything about this, Jason!
Helping my son study for a test today on the humanity of Christ so I introduced him to @ShaiLinne’s Lyrical Theology. Noticed for the first time his shout out to Canada at the end of Hypostatic Union! 👊🏻🇨🇦
HELP! I’m on an audiobook binge. All my audiobook elitists out there, what’s your all-time fave(s) & why? 3 caveats: 1. Only the best of the best! 2. Any genre, but I enjoy (auto) bios/ historical fiction & thrillers. 3. Must be amazing narration, not just great writing. Ok go!
If you’re involved in any kind of ministry to children, please prioritize the Word. Sometimes, effectiveness in children’s ministry is measured by how fun it was. But kids who are taught to place fun above all will grow into adults who place entertainment above all.
